Name-Dropping with Pollo! (09/15/11)

There's so many names dropping around here, even I can't keep up! You'd better try, though, as I take you on a whirlwind tour of what your favorite celebrities are doing around the Bay Area in the next couple weeks.

For drag fans -- and I would guess you are, if you're reading this -- this one's jam-packed! I serve a backstage interview with RuPaul's Drag Race star India Ferrah and behind-the-scenes video from Bay Area super-photographer Jose A. Guzman-Colon's shoot with original Drag Race diva BeBe Zahara Benet.

For all you GLEEKs out there, find out the latest on Emily Vasquez, star of TV's The GLEE Project. She joins Drag Race star Jessica Wild and many of San Francisco's favorite queens Sat., Oct. 1, at a benefit for LGBTQ youth.

Topping things off are details about an upcoming performance by O.M.D. -- Orchestral Maneouvres in the Dark. The reunited '80s synth icons play SF's Warfield Theatre Mon., Oct. 3. I'll tell you why a flood of angry emails forced Andy McCluskey and crew to change their originally scheduled date!

Oh, get a basket, honey, because I also NAME-DROP Eminem, Rihanna, Skylar Grey, Liz Primo, Erasure's Andy Bell and Vince Clark, Drag Racers Mimi Imfurst and Mystique Summers & more. I'm already exhausted, and we haven't even started!
