Pollo interviews actor Ewan McGregor, singer CeCe Peniston and rapper Rye Rye.

With most Hollywood leading men angling to protect their hyper-masculinized public images, Ewan McGregor is a breath-of-fresh-air. While he's certainly secured mainstream appeal with manly roles as a young Obi-Wan Kenobi in the blockbuster Star Wars prequels and romantic Christian in Moulin Rouge, he's also never shied away from playing it gay!

Since 1996, the sexy Scotsman has amassed a string of LGBT-themed roles. From The Pillow Book and Velvet Goldmine, to taking on the gay title character in I Love You Phillip Morris, he's run the gamut -- including playing Christopher Plummer's son in the 2011 coming out tale Beginners. (Plummer won this year's Best Supporting Actor Oscar playing McGregor's 75-year-old dad, who finally comes to terms with his sexuality!)

This edition of Name-Dropping with Pollo! includes audio footage of my recent in-person interview with Ewan. In addition to discussing his most recent film -- Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, which hits theatres March 9 -- the actor explains his fearlessness in tackling gay roles.

Also in this edition, I catch up with dance music diva CeCe Peniston. The "Finally" star shares her excitement about performing this year at The Dinah Shore Weekend, the world's largest lesbian party. She also gives the inside scoop on when she will have new material available, the direction she is taking musically and her return to San Francisco for a big benefit show at The Rrazz Room.

Joining CeCe for The Dinah is rising female rapper Rye Rye. The Baltimore-born sensation also shares why she is excited about heading to Palm Springs and why, unlike some hip hop stars, she has no problem performing for LGBT audiences.

Last, but never least, I share some dish on RuPaul's Drag Race, Season 4 star Willam Belli. Get complete details about the controversial (& uber-bitchy!) performer's Bay Area debut.

All this & much more is found in this edition of my video blog, but rather than reading about it, why don't we get to Name-Dropping?!
