HUFFINGTONPOST.COM ENTERS CONTENT DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT WITH YAHOO! NEWS

HuffingtonPost.com will be first blog content hosted by Yahoo! News, beginning June 28

New York, NY- June 28, 2005 - HuffingtonPost.com, today announced a content agreement with Yahoo! Inc., in which the HuffingtonPost.com will provide content to Yahoo! News beginning June 28.

Under the terms of the agreement, Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com) will offer users a daily selection of the best news and postings from HuffingtonPost.com’s group commentary. HuffingtonPost.com, which is led by author and columnist Arianna Huffington, offers commentary from some of the most original thinkers in politics, Hollywood, corporate America, and the media. The content will appear primarily in the opinion section of Yahoo! News, although Yahoo! News editors also may select stories to appear on Yahoo! News entertainment pages when appropriate.

“Since we’ve launched in May, we’ve had some interesting exchanges on substantive issues and created a valued destination for people looking for engaging commentary and breaking news. The partnership with Yahoo! will further help us reach one of the most engaged audiences on the Internet. Launched May 9, 2005, HuffingtonPost.com takes two successful elements of the Internet — news and blogging — and combines them to provide both a snapshot of what’s happening in the world and a provocative conversation about the top stories of the day.
