In the middle of the summer, we're willing to do anything to cool down. We switch up our beauty routine and wear the right clothes, but we still wake up sweating in the middle of the night.
The unlikely culprit of our rising internal temperature? Our sheets.
Turns out, sheets made with synthetic materials like polyester blend actually trap heat (making us hotter) and make it harder to fall asleep.
That's why it's important--especially in the coming months--to buy natural fabrics, like 100 percent cotton, which is sweat-wicking and the most breathable option.
It's a simple swap, and the payoff is huge.
Once we ditched our old sheets for these 100 percent Egyptian cotton ones from Parachute, we slept better and didn't wake up needing to immediately take another shower. It's the little things.
