What you need: A stepladder or a sturdy chair and a pillowcase.

What you do: Set up the stepladder underneath the ceiling fan. Slip the pillowcase over one of the blades and pull it across the surface to catch the dust in the case. Repeat as needed, then move on to the next blade until you're all done.

Will this make my pillowcase disgusting?
Nah. Dump the dust in the trash and toss the pillowcase in the wash. Onward and upward!
