Alright Apple fanboys, it's time to put up the iFail movie version of the iFail radio show we had on back in January.
In the words of the Wall Street Journal, "The last time there was this much excitement about a tablet, it had some commandments written on it."
And in the words of Molly Peterson in the movie below, "I don't understand how people have so much money to spend on ridiculously redundant devices".
But don't take our word for it, hear what Hilter has to say:

Craig Kanalley: iPad Review: It Has Only One Flaw
For millions of Americans right now, the unemployed, the hurting, and for those paying back college loans, the iPad's a tease. You're better off waiting.
Larry Magid: Can an iPad Replace a Laptop? Hands-on Review
I wrote almost this entire column using an iPad which partially answered my biggest question about the device. Can it replace a laptop PC? So far, the answer is a qualified yes.
"Peripherals are a problem because Apple didn't include a standard USB port which PC and Mac users can use to add external hard drives, off-the-shelf keyboards and mice, external displays and many other accessories. I'm sure that wasn't an oversight by Apple because by not allowing people to use existing hardware, they create a market for specialize hardware from themselves..."
NOT ALLOWING people, create SPECIALIZED markets?
Oh wow, so I get to buy yet ANOTHER piece of software all over again, I get to buy yet ANOTHER set of hardware all over again. It's so nice that Apple wants to control every aspect of my life like that.
Nope, as long as they continue to market by EXCLUSION instead of INCLUSION, they won't be getting my money. I will wait for a competing product which will allow me to add what I see fit, use commonly available software and backward/forward compatibility with other products and platforms.
The idea that leaving OUT something as sensible as a damn USB port makes it desirable is ludicrous.
SD memory slot? while ive been using computers for years, since when is an SD memory slot mandatory? did this just happen in the last month or something? well let me ease your fears, considering that Apple has just put an SD memory slot on its base consumer desktop the iMac, there a chance that you will get your make-or-break SD slot, even if granny doesn't need it for her pro photography business.
you will also get your front facing camera (there is already a housing for the camera the same size and shape as the one on the iphone), you will get your multi-talking in iphone OS 4, and you will never get your flash, because if there is something apple is good at, its phasing out outdated technology, how do you still like your serial ports? i prefere usb myself :)
and every iPad comes with wi-fi.. the 3g is the upgrade. read your spec before trying to sound intelligent please, i dont like calling you out when i really shouldn't have to.
no flash? flash is a battery hog, they went HTML5, much cleaner.
no SD slot? for what, high/low end photography? use the port and cable to hook your camera directly to the iPad. there is a port, if you hadnt read the spec sheet. or you could simply wait for the next gen with camera (yes, they already have the housing built into the frame for a camera, just a matter of time).
Wi-Fi comes standard, the 3G is the upgrade, again, you should read the spec sheet.

and if this is the same price as laptop, i can only assume your talking about a netbook, and a windows OS netbook at that.. well id rather buy the iPad instead, that way i wont have to bother with reinstalling my OS every couple of weeks, and losing all my data.
In reality, the last time there was this much excitement about a tablet it had Viagra written on it...
Folks, it's just a machine. Handy and useful for some, perhaps not worth it to others. To me it's no different than, say, a motorcycle. Just because you can't use it to haul lumber doesn't mean it isn't useful. For a lot of people, it's a nice little machine for their uses.
HAHAHAHA
*sigh*

FAILED PARTY POOPERS!
lots of papers and shut doors.
are you one of those collectors who wont throw stuff out?
they said the Macintosh would fail.
they said the iMac would fail.
they said the ipod would fail.
they said the iphone would fail.
so now they are saying the ipad will fail.. forgive me if im not convinced by this lame, light on actual content, seemingly uniformed-of-actual-reporting-on-the-potential-of-the-product writer who obviously doesnt like the ipad.. well, heres my take on it:
i say this writer is fail.
the 27in iMac that i have now is the best investment i ever made, your whining and h8 will never convince me otherwise, just because your a 2 year old, and cant seem to work a computer, you have no room to talk trash.. go back to your dos command line input, if i need to use unix, i can, in fact, i can use the Mac OS, classic Mac OS, Unix, Windows and Linux if i really really want to.. of course, all i really need is Mac OSX and bootcamp for games, and Parallels for Softimage XSI.. you fail.
As the guys on Cartalk often say, "Doesn't anyone screen these calls!"
