Trip Notes: Los Angeles

NYC is my home and where I can best create my collections because of the location to the fashion industry, but travel is an essential part of who I am and how I create. I really do believe travel is beneficial, even critical, to growth, both personally and professionally. It is essential to stay inspired, grow the brand, and to explore new projects that both excite me and keep my creative wheels turning. I do miss my girls so much when I travel, so I bring them along for work trips as much as I can.

This month's work trip was to Los Angeles, which has the weather year-round that I dream about, so I always look forward to a business trip to the "other" coast. Usually I work in some "me" time to explore the latest art filled spaces, boutiques, new restaurants, or to just sit by the sea, but this trip was all business -- and maybe a little bit of fun. Here's a peek at a few of my days in LA.
