March (and even April) serve as a transitional period in fashion. Magazines are producing their lengthy and coveted Spring issues, the focus is already shifting ahead to the current season (I can't even bear to think of fall or winter at this point already) and generally the beautiful weather just brings out the best in everyone. And it seems that the more people find themselves in good spirits, the more willing they are to take more risks with their wardrobe. The only problem is, some don't know where to begin.

For starters, despite the good weather, most people won't dare shy away from the Internet, and this proves to be beneficial for digital tastemakers such as the online website LookLab. In an extremely short amount of time, LookLab has become a go-to source for those seeking fashion and style advice -- as evidenced by their over 15,000 Facebook fans. As the founders put it, "LookLab connects you to fashion insiders who offer personalized shopping advice. Want to look ravishing for a big night? Upgrade your work wardrobe? Try a new trend? Just ask! Our service is free, and our insiders are waiting to hear from you. We pair fashion insiders with style-savvy shoppers. The result: great looks, new ideas, and tons of buzz."

As it turns out, I've been fortunate enough to watch the growth of this fashion startup since its early beginnings. As a Fashion Insider on the site, luckily for all of you, I was able to get the inside scoop from dynamic brother-sister duo Radha and Suraj Kapoor.

What do you feel is the correlation between technology and fashion?

Innovative online fashion companies are causing technology and fashion to become a lot more tightly knit than they previously were. Such companies are helping deliver new levels of efficiency to their consumers, engaging them with new and innovative ideas, and providing unparalleled access to the industry.

LookLab in a way can be thought of as a virtual showroom. What do you feel are the pros and cons of this virtuality vs. reality in terms of styling?

LookLab is about access. LookLab fashion insiders can pick their styling suggestions from anywhere on the web, which is a huge advantage, as it provides them with an array of options they would never have if they were styling someone in person. Also, our users have instant access to celebrity stylists in fashion capitals, which they would most likely never have. Of course, styling someone virtually has some obvious restrictions, such as being able to try things on and communicating body size/shape, but we are building some exciting features that will help counter such issues!

Do you feel that LookLab is a pioneer in online styling? What sets it apart?

Absolutely! we have strived to create something that has not been done before! What sets LookLab apart is the high level of personalization we provide to our users. Each insider provides a hand-written note to the user explaining their product picks. It is truly one-on-one, and allows users to receive suggestions for their personal, individual needs.

Once joining, what can a new user expect to gain from being a member of the LookLab community?

As a member of our community, you have direct access to fashion insiders to ask your personal style questions. It's like having your own personal stylist 24/7! We are also adding some really exciting and innovative features that will allow users to ask questions while they are shopping on the go. [We] can't say more, so you will just have to keep on checking the site!
Fashion Insiders like myself also range from certified stylists to bloggers to designers and the list goes on. As a member, I can vouch for the fact that you truly get the most accessible and personalized styling experience that the Internet has to offer... Still not convinced? Join LookLab and ask for yourself.

In short, the Internet is the way of the future, and technology has become an integral part of not only the fashion industry but virtually very aspect of every career. It is a more accessible medium for individuals to express and interact with one another based on common interests. And with creative thinkers like Radha, Suraj and the numerous Fashion Insiders and members that have joined LookLab, this community proves that internet styling is the next big thing. LookLab truly is a pioneer in accessible fashion. And as the LookLab slogan goes, I can't think of any other way to end this article than with: Fashion. Genius.
