Zev Mo Green and I first met Tanjila Islam (CEO) and Bhavna Lal (Director of Business Development) at VatorSplash NYC. We were quickly taken by how passionate Tanjila and Bhavna are, not only about their NYC-based start-up but about building business relationships.
I sometimes believe that the best conversations occur offline -- when the cameras and tape records stop. Shortly after the interview Tanjila continued to explain how terribly important it is to her that Tiger Trade build business relationships. They want Tiger Trade to provide an avenue where buyers and suppliers can communicate as well as share ideas. Islam does not want Tiger Trade to be labeled as another B2B.
