Pro-Israel demonstrators waved Israeli and American flags while Palestinian supporters protested in front of the Israeli Consulate in Los Angeles during the evening of Jan. 2, 2009. Wilshire Blvd. and LAPD officials stood between the two sides. HuffPost World Photojournalist Jim Stevenson shares his photographs.
