March 18, 2009. Teaneck, NJ
“Bring the troops home NOW! No more blood for oil! 6 years too many!” Those were the calls of members of special vigil on the eve of the 6th anniversary of the Iraq war. The warm sun shone down on the vigil members, used to braving icy winds at the corner of the National Guard armory. Passersby honked vigorously in support as they drove by. This was the first of 5 events in Bergen County to mark the 6th anniversary. The events were co-sponsored by Military Families Speak Out, Bergen County, Teaneck Peace and Justice Coalition, Veterans for Peace, Chapter 21 NJ, Bergen Peace and Justice Coalition, and NJ Peace Action. |

How many US soldiers maimed for life? -15,000 or 20,000?
How many US soldiers committed suicide?
All because of an idiot who would never had been elected if his name had been anything but George Bush.
How much money did Cheney make from for all the no competition contracts that were awarded to Halliburton?
