Just a week after a controversial trip to Brazil involving illegal graffiti and a visit to a brothel, Justin Bieber is now in the midst of an international scandal involving the hijacking of a petroleum gas tanker with a band of Somali pirates.

Four crew members, including the captain, were killed as Bieber and the Somali gang boarded the ship. The remaining crew of the Marine Vessel We Tank, based in Hong Kong, were held hostage for several hours before being rescued.

The hijacking was caught on film by paparazzi, but Bieber managed to escape the scene on the shoulders of his bodyguards before the US Navy arrived.
