Michael Moore is so passionate about America's future, he had to make a movie converting Trump Republicans to Hillary. He's never voted for her, he says to a select audience of about 700 at the Murphy Theater in Wilmington, Ohio, the birthplace of the banana split, and you can continue hating her if you already do, just vote for Hillary.

Readers of his blog know Michael Moore does not look at polls. He looks at disenfranchised white men, dinosaurs, who make braying noises at Trump rallies as they prepare to die. He makes the point that when Trump talks about taxing companies that send their manufacturing overseas, or Mexico, it's music to their ears. And speaking of Mexico, and because this is a Michael Moore event, he's got Hispanic looking people in the balcony behind a wall, and Muslims sectioned off in another remove with loud drones flying over them. No one's laughing at first, but by the end of his shtick, the audience is on its feet, clapping, and generally getting his message.

Martha Wheelock's fine short film about Inez Milholland, an early suffragette, should alert everyone to the hard won right to vote.
