David McCotter is a registered Republican-- a self-described "red neck with a shaved head" who owns a plumbing business in Durham, N.C. McCotter is one of the actual humans in what Hillary Clinton and many campaign pundits and pollsters have been referring to as a key "demographic" that has come to embrace the new regular-gal Hillary campaign and is less enthusiastic about supporting Barack Obama.

McCotter, though, says the candidates and their images matter less than the issues. As long as Obama addresses gas, crime and the economy, McCotter would have no problem voting for him. McCotter not only disagreed with Senator Clinton about Obama's viability with white working class men like himself, but was visibly annoyed by the suggestion that simply because he is white and an "average Joe," he would not vote for Senator Obama. "I'm sick of the race card. I don't even want to comment on that," he said.

Check out a real-life hard-working white American rebut the core argument, for why Senator Clinton clings to a candidacy that is gone with the wind.
