This is an open letter from The Iranian National Council for Free Elections to the UN Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ahmed Shaheed, this letter includes a brief summary of a monthly report on select cases of humans rights violations for April, May and June 2015.
This summary provides an overview of the assaults on freedom of opinion and expression, status of prisoners' of conscience, recent executions, violation of children-, women-, ethnic-, and religious minorities' rights, etc.
We are hopeful that this letter will support your investigation on human rights violations in Iran. We appreciate your efforts and offer our unconditional assistance to free all prisoners of conscience, and end the practice of torture and the death penalty in our beloved homeland.
This Statistics contains many sectors including women, children, prisoners , etc...and statistical study is descriptive.
Statistics executed in three months, June, July and August this year amounted to 74 individuals. Nevertheless the number of executions since the eleventh government is headed by H. Hassan Rouhani are 1,733 people.
3,320 human rights violations in the field of thought and expression has been registered for 3,385 people.
4,298 cases in the field of human rights violations to 9,006 prisoners have been recorded.
In student categories, zero cases in the field of human rights violations has been recorded.
In execution categories, 85 cases in the field of human rights violations for 94 individuals sentenced to death, have been recorded.
In children categories, 203 cases in the field of human rights violations to 407 individuals have been recorded.
456 cases in the field of human rights violations to women have been registered for 458 individuals.
In the cultural categories, 18 cases in the field of human rights violation to 27 individuals have been recorded.
In the guilds categories, 267 cases in the field of human rights violation to 529 individuals have been recorded.
Two human rights violations in the field of ethnic minorities have been registered for three individuals.
Nineteen human rights violations in the field of religious minorities have been registered for 23 individuals.
In addition, 7,000,979 human rights violations in the field of workers' rights have been recorded for 7,002,349 individuals.
417 human rights violation in the field of environment and health care have been recorded for 866 individuals.
In other human rights violations, 168 cases for 168 individuals have been registered.
This report is a result of efforts was recorded and reported by the Human Rights Commission of the National Council of Statistics survey in boarding the project to collect, analyze and document the reports filed by human rights defenders and related organizations.
It is worth mentioning that because Iranian government does not allow the Human Rights organization and other groups to work freely, these reports are not complete reports, and only depicts a part of the systematic violation of human rights in Iran. Although this report has been prepared with great care but it is not error-free and error rate of 2% is considered in statistics.
