It's Time to Drop the "F" Bomb: Fascism!

It's an epithet that has been used -- and certainly misused -- but what is fascism exactly? Simply put: it's government that favors the corporation and not the individual. Mussolini defined and installed the "corporate state." Hitler had his version and of course there were others.

This political philosophy sought to demonize the labor movement and keep the oligarchical system in place in alliance with the banking cabal. There were many moneyed interests in this great country of ours that were absolutely swooning at Hitler's machinations and they longed for such a system here. A coup was in fact planned, in 1933, by banks, oil and other powerful interests. They thought they could convince the revered and charismatic General Smedley Darlington Butler to lead half a million veterans to help them with their coup. The plan was to install a sort of co-president, who really ran things and FDR would just be a ceremonial president. But when General Butler (the only soldier to receive two medals of honor) blew the whistle after leading the plotters on, it all fell apart. The General's book, War Is A Racket, includes his searing indictment of government and the oil empire; he said he did not want to sacrifice one Marine to help the oil czars and their minions with any more foreign conquests.

Today, no such coup was necessary because now it has been revealed that Justice Department lackeys stretched and tortured the law to issue secret rulings, which essentially state that the president alone can determine what laws he has to follow and that his interpretation of the Constitution is the final word. So now it is official: we are a Fascist country!

Some people saw it coming but they were ridiculed, marginalized, or ignored, or all three -- in that order.

With that in mind:

Hi Richard,

I think the last time I saw you in person was some 50 years ago. You and Van had dropped by the West End Bowling Alley on State Street. What amazes me is you really haven't changed too much since you were a kid. Of course, although I knew Van a little better, I didn't run into you too much unless I was down the South End for something. You may or may not remember me. I went by Johnny at that time and was Curley Cote's best freind. I've run into Van a few times over the years and he has told me he still keeps in touch with you.

Fascism. Def. Italian Fascio. meaning as in bundle of sticks. The mixing together (marriage)of Government, Corporations (business and economy), and Labor. Hitler admired what Mussolini was doing and patterned his Third Reich after it. However Mussolini was more socialist, while Hitler drove towards Nationalism to the extreme (Supremist)and Totalitarianism. We, the USA, are Fascism. In fact, that Mussolini then became to admire when he saw the American Corporations take over our Nation in during WW2, (the American Depression may never have ended) and which were financing his movement as well as Hiltler's. We are living in a Nation of Elitist Supremist Fascism in the secondary stages of the Fourth Reich. Pres bush has grabbed all the Power needed in America, and signed all the (Clinton actually started with the program) Executive orders needed. congress and Senate are ALL on board. They have facilitated the administration of all the "Acts" the Fascists need. Patriot Act and all the other crap. While it has not quite reached the point of a World Leader, there are some challenging for the lead. Al Gore is emerging as the front runner in many circles. the "crusade" he was given to sell the World on the ridiculous overstating of manmade contibuting factors as a signifigance towards Global Warming has , granted him with rewards. These superficial Honors and Awards, (akin to war "medals) give him credentials and Global notoriety with which to ease acceptance into this a role for the World Stage. Third world countries won't have a chance to ever become True Free Republics. All Nations and Every Industry will be subjected to paying a "fee" or you won't be allowed to exist. "Global Warming" will be deemed (and LAWS enforced) too big and too inportant to let Sovereign Nations survive without paying a "toll" to the Elitists Supremists. Those who know better for everyone. Companies like Blackwater are alreadt being trained. They will be given license to invade and combat wherever something happens, even natural disasters and can impose marshall law and subdue any uprisings or resistance, and enforce strict adherence to "global standards".

Once upon a time in a mansion not very far away there lived many mostly nice mice. Life for these mice had gone along pretty well for years. They had plenty to eat and life was very peaceful. One day a big, fat cat came to live at the mansion and all hell broke loose. The bad cat ate most of the cheese and would not let the mice have their beloved freedom. He would prowl about menacingly, looking for any creature to terrorize. Things got so bad the mice could barely move, because the cat spyed on all of their movements. All the poor mice could do was hold meetings and have voting sessions that all ended in no solution.One day, one of the braver mice called Harry came up with the idea to put a bell around the cat's neck, so that they could be aware of his plunderings. A bell was procured. The mice were so excited they stayed up all night. At last a volunteer was needed to put the bell on the big fat cat. A lot of noisy squeaking went on for a long time, while the cat wire-tapped the whole meeting, with loud guffaws at every "no" vote. Many of the writer mice caved in first. They said they just like coming up with clever stuff about the situation and would not be interested in actually doing something about it. Some of the the other mice had their fave tv shows to watch. The squeaking went on and on until they realized that not one of the mice had courage to bell the cat. And today, boys and girls, the horrible, terrible cat still terrorizes the poor trembling, still squeaking and voting little mice.

Why is everyone so afraid of speaking the truth?
The way to STOP FASCISM is to follow the Constitution and impeach, imprison and impugn
fascists who lie, cheat and steal from our national treasury the way that the BUSH CABAL has done for 8 years.

Of course, it takes integrity, candor and truth

Reagan ushered in this era and it doesn't matter much if a dem or repub is elected because the big money is in charge.
This is why laws that protect the individual from the government are of the highest importance.
The police must be controlled and controlled locally.
We must remove all laws which prohibit one from their own definition of Life Liberty and happiness.
A person will do with themselves as they see fit and a person must have a 100% legal right to themselves, what they do to and with themselves.
Privacy must be protected...all personal info must be 100% the property of the individual it is about .
These are some of the things that must be done if you want your kids to grow up in a Free country.

There are lots of definitions from different sources.

Some basic aspects would include:

No real power with a vote for citizens.
Corporate power merging with government power.
Corporate propaganda merging with government propaganda.
The use of lies about threats against the people, the purpose being to allow government to assume the role of protector.

It also may have a rich vs. poor component which would apply to the US today.

As for the one other time when we almost lost our nation to fascism.........a mind blowing 1/2 hour of BBC radio.....

Quite the coincidence that a Bush was in the mix back then too.

Perhaps it was only Germany that lost WWII, not the Nazis.
The fascists kept on fighting, quietly, patiently, in America.
First they "took" the Republicans.....in the early 80's with Reagan/Bush.
In the late 90's they got serious about "taking" the Democrats, using the DLC as Trojan Horse. Almost done, not quite.

Not in my opinion, though the fascists can see the finish line.....but there is a courageous little man with a pocket sized copy of the Constitution in his hand standing in their way.....he has lots of support too.
