We just finished our press conference here in Houston announcing Brave New Films' impending new release, "The Big Buy: How Tom DeLay Stole Congress." We were here with the Texas filmmakers, Jim and Mark, but where was Tom DeLay? He's in D.C. at Aiken Gump on the hump for more cash. I guess he'll need it. The film, due out in May, tells the horrifying story of how DeLay used his combination of influence at the very pinnacle of power and his total lack of morality to corrupt the national political system by stealing five house seats here in Texas.

Asked about the movie this morning, when shockingly he found himself in front of reporters with cameras, he said, "Oh, I don't worry about that stuff." I wonder what he does worry about? My guess is that Mr. DeLay's government cell phone has more than a few calls to his old buddy, Duke Cunningham, now in jail for eight and a half years for stealing money from defense contractors while our own men and women in Iraq can't get body armor. What do you suppose the Hammer and the Duke discussed? Do you think DeLay asked if he could bring his hammer to jail?

Disgust at Tom DeLay aside, the reporters here asked if it was fair to the local voters to have national attention focused on Mr. DeLay's reelection bid. Of course it's fair because Tom DeLay has used his local elections as a path to power to deform America's democracy. According to the local press, even they have trouble interviewing Mr. DeLay. I guess he's too busy manipulating money for redistricting to pay attention to the press or even his home voters.

Our Brave New Films alternative distribution network that got "Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price" out to over 800,000 people in a week will help assure that this November, the voters can decide with their eyes wide open what their votes mean. This is a referendum on unprecedented amounts of concentrated corporate money in politics, a part of a well-planned plot by Tom DeLay and his cronies, including Jack A and Duke C, to take over America. I trust the American people. Once armed with the facts, they will choose well. That's the beauty of getting the message out neighbor to neighbor without coporate intermediation.

Tom DeLay, here comes America.
