Black Jury Deliberates For Sixth Day

DELIBERATIONS: Jurors in the fraud trial of former media tycoon Conrad Black deliberated for a sixth day Thursday without reaching a verdict. They said in a note to Judge Amy St. Eve that they plan to deliberate from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.

DEFENDANTS: Black, 62, former chairman and CEO of newspaper publisher Hollinger International Inc. (nyse: HLR - news - people ); Jack Boultbee, 64, former Hollinger chief financial officer; Peter Atkinson, 60, former Hollinger vice president and general counsel; Mark Kipnis, 59, corporate counsel in Hollinger International's Chicago headquarters.
