Pumpkin Patches Offer Tons of Fun (If You Bring Your Own Fake Family)

Fall has arrived! You know what that means -- dressing your adorable kids up in cute little Halloween costumes, jumping into a pile of leaves while wearing a scarf, and reflecting on why you're all alone and have no family with whom you can carve silly faces into pumpkins. These stock photos of fake families at pumpkin patches perfectly demonstrate how much fun fall can be when you aren't totally, completely, and utterly alone.

Even if you do have a family, there's no way you could have as much fun as this loving, tight-knit group, even if you took the free hayride to the pick-your-own patch at New York's Dykeman Farm. Not even with a fake family.

If you have a child, you should probably take lots of pictures of it at as it explored the pumpkin patch, for example the one at Armand's Harper Valley Family Farm. If you don't, it's pretty creepy to take pictures of other people's kids, so you should use the time to think about the fact that another year is drawing to a close and you're still all alone. You should probably hire a fake husband and kids.

Bringing a wagon to carry your pumpkins and kids to Goebbert's Pumpkin Patch, or any fall farm activity for that matter, is an awesome idea. You know, if your fake family contains children.

Some pumpkin patches, like Amazing Acres Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch, offer different kinds of pumpkins and gourds. Most pumpkin patches, however, don't guarantee that you'll have a whimsical day frolicking among the leaves and pumpkins unless you bring a fake family of your very own.
