Why, when the world is shrinking and even outer space is finally within our reach, is heaven not getting any closer? Why, in this new age of endless possibilities, can't I simply "Bing" Him on?

Life, in this age of technology, has become so easy in so many ways. If I want a particular dress in a specific style, or a specific shoe in a certain color, all I have to do is click a button. If I am looking for the definition of a certain word or a specific word for a certain definition, I can "wiki" it. If I want to watch a video, listen to a song or view anything that has ever transpired, I can "google" it. If I want to see my cousin in Cancun, all I have to do is "Skype" him. And of course, if I am craving chicken or pork, all I need is a mouse.

Everything is so accessible today; everybody, even when far away, is finally within reach; why then can't I reach the One who is supposedly around us? Why, when I can make a connection from here to the farthest corners of the earth in a split second, can't I make a connection with God? Why, when I can call anyone, does She not answer my call? How come all of a sudden Jesus, Abraham, Allah and Shiva (who are proud, insular and do not mingle with each other), are suddenly banding together to reject my technological advances and my simple prayers for health & peace for all?

Why, when the world is shrinking and even outer space is finally within our reach, is heaven not getting any closer? Why, in this new age of endless possibilities, can't I simply "Bing" Him on?
Why, even SIRI, sulked when I asked her to search for Him?
