Ever since Mahmoud Ahmadinejad prematurely declared himself the winner of the election, people have been in engaging in sustained protests throughout Iran. The protests have passed a tipping point, in part because the number of protesters has gone well above that critical mass necessary to make the most risk averse individuals safe enough to bring into the streets. But it has also seemed like the protesters have been lacking in a clear sense of strategy and direction, sometimes randomly engaging in random acts of destruction, rock throwing and violence, and just looking like they don't have a meaningful long-term plan or set of goals.
As a sign of this recognition, an international group of Iranians have come together to heavily promote a group they started a few months ago to teach their fellow Iranians in Farsi about how to engage in effective nonviolent strategy and tactics. They have launched this new campaign with two PSAs on YouTube:
