Festival of Light turns Dumbo Into a Magical Scene

Dumbo couldn't be better name to this Brooklyn's neighborhood hosting the first edition of The New York Festival of Light this weekend Nov. 7-9. As magical as the movie, a display of artistic light designs transformed the Manhattan Bridge anchorage, in Dumbo, into a cosmic world of lights.

Thousands of people have visited the area to enjoy the artworks and performances from artists, lighting designers and DJs. Friday night, I visited along with friends the trendy neighborhood near Anchorage Place and Water Street. What started as a regular stroll became a whimsical night. Visiting Dumbo, rounded by neon dancing lights and projections, will make you feel as if you were one of the movie scenes. Take the chance to be part of this brilliant and illuminated spectacle.
