"Unplug and Recharge" is a new Living series which aims to give you, our dear readers, a quick break from your day -- whether you have as much time as ten minutes or as little as two. Following the success of our Oasis at the DNC, we're hoping to give you a little cyber-oasis -- a place to escape -- where you can take a moment to unplug, relax, and recharge.

Change is in the air, and you're not alone if that makes you feel even the slightest bit anxious. Join me for a five- minute yoga practice that will help to reduce these feelings of uneasiness in your body and mind. The three main aspects of this routine: linking your breath to your movement, forward bending, and deepening you exhalation, will empower you to step back into your day more equipped to weather life's ups and downs with steady grace and courage. As the old adage says, we cannot change events, but we can change how we respond to them. Kick off your shoes, grab a mat, cushion, or carpeted floor space and join me!
