In this new world of tweets, status updates and reality TV, there appears to be no such thing as "overexposure." Now more than ever, celebrities are using the Internet to put themselves out there and connect directly with their fans. And I'm not just talking about Demi Moore posting twit pics of her bikini bod. In fact, some of the most sought after celebs, all of which are professional athletes, are teaming up to give fans an unprecedented glimpse into their privates lives.

Sports Buzz is a new and exciting venture that gives fans a chance to connect directly with some of their favorite players. The website features locker room videos of players, articles written by players and even family pictures. You can tag along on a shopping trip with Saints tackle Remi Ayodele, check out Redskins tight end Fred Davis' favorite tattoo, read about which player has a pet monkey or even listen to one player diss the "worst of the worst" touchdown dances. The website is in its early stages and currently only features players from the Saints and Redskins but there are plans to expand to other teams and sports in 2011.

I never imagined I'd be so fascinated watching Saints kicker Garrett Hartley talk about his package. Not that kind of package, you dirt bags! It was something he called a package that turned out to be a pile of poop from his bulldog. See the kind of stuff you're missing out on, people? If you want to check out the site, don't dilly dally. They'll likely start charging for access in the near future.
