More Palin Hypocrisy: Tripp Has Government Provided Health Insurance

What's Your Reaction:

The dangers of "death panels" were explained to Americans on Sarah Palin's Facebook page. Oh, sweet Lord, she must not sleep at night...her grandson could be the next victim of "socialized medicine".

Recently released documents from the custody battle show clearly Tripp Palin Johnston has socialized health care through Indian Health Services and the Alaska Native Medical Center.

Palin's family has federally funded health care afforded to them...but if you had it Barack Obama might kill you. Put this on the list of Palin's Greatest Hypocritical Hits...volume 97.

sorry to say, but she is nothing but a hypocrite.

I just told my friends that I am going on a cruise line to Alaska...

Majority of them jokingly said - now that $P is not the governor, right!

No amount of bilious Sarah-bashing will ever change the hearts & minds of the Alaskan Aphrodite's fans, followers, devotees & acolytes. In other words, give it up.

Reaching much, Shannyn?

The kid has enough Native American ancestry to qualify. So he gets on the program. Yes, the Palins are being hypocritical. But all this article is gonna do is feed Sarah's martyrdom complex.

I don't think Shannyn is reaching. She never said or implied that Palin's son wasn't a Native American or part Native American, simply that it's hypocritical for her to use federally funded health care for him when publically she's against it. And it's based on a racial preference to boot! But you are correct that it'll just feed into her martyrdom complex. Also, she'll say they're (meaning the "Liberal Media") attacking her children. I agree that this is hypocrisy but because it applies to her son it should be hypocrisy that we ignore. Luckily, there's no dearth of other issues to criticize her on. Shannyn has a sharp eye but Heather Mac is right to imply that the issue should be dropped.

Its just like on cspan. A lot of people who dont want health care reform are then asked what kind of insurance they have and sooooo many of them have medicare.
05:33 PM on 02/26/2010
So, not only does he have Government health insurance, the family EXPLICITLY REJECT private insurance!

In other words, when it comes to their own family, they PREFER Government insurance over private ditto...

Hypocrisy, indeed!

Thanks to all for exploring that Gov---I mean EX Governor Palin, for all her posturing about "govment" healthcare and death panels, is actually receiving it herself. Plain and pure hypocrisy. I cannot understand how this has been unexplored and/or publicized more.

I had been wondering about this ever since I read about Tripp Palin being eligible for healthcare benefits because of Todd Palin's Eskimo heritage.

Shannon, you need to bring this out in the open.

Here is another Palin DOUBLE STANDARD you need to bring out..

Bristol just won her child support settlement. She will receive about $1,700.00 a month from Levi.

http://www.monstersandcritics.com/people/news/article_1536885.php/Sarah-Palin-s-daughter-is-owed-18-000-in-child-support

So, if she would have practiced abstanance, she would be poort.

But as a teenager who goes around talking about how difficult it is as a single mother, Bristol is raking it in.

$1,700.00 a month child support

Brand new Cadilac paid for

Free room and board

Company and mom to pay all travel expenses

Free health care insurance

How can she go around talking about being a single, teen mother.

I wish I had $1700 a month to support my family of 4. The rest of the perks would be nice too, but $1700 would do nicely, especially if I didn't have to do a darn thing for it.

Not to say Levi shouldn't be paying CS, but this is closer to alimony+child support, and they never married. Just seems awfully high when say an SSI check for a single child+food stamps would come out to under $1000.

Lesson #1...when your hormones rage, keep it zipped if your object of desire has a mom with political pull.

Has Sarah worked for the Alaska government long enough to qualify for a pension? Is she carrying her government insurance over into her retirement from office. I think there is a vested time to work for a pension and she didn't work long enough as mayor and governor.

It would be a riot if she is eligible for government pension and health care through her past employer.

Does Todd still work? For some reason, the Palins don't seem like they'd be the best financial planners out there.

The irony and baggage that come with this family is just amazing.

Sarah is vested through gov't retirement program after 5 years. Count her stints as mayor, then gov. she qualifies.
She is not covered under her husbands federal health insurance as she is not Alaska Native. But all her kids are covered, only at federally approved places.
It is a disgrace that she hides her husbands and childrens proud heritage. She wants the perks so they don't have to spend money on health care but she hides their native status. It is an attitude that happens all over America.

"Obama is not proposing the same type of coverage as in Canada or Britain -- that is socialized, not universal health care"

Please explain the difference. As a Canadian I have Universal Health Care across all provinces and
extending into the US and other countries. Evenyone is universally covered from birth to death. What makes this socialized and what Switzerland has is not. We had the Dr's, but they have chosen to leave for the US where they can make an infinite amount of money. Switzerland and most European countries have a cap on what a Doctor can earn in one year. Emergencys are still just that and seen
on a need basis in Canada. I have never had to wait for care IF it was a true emergency. Unfortunately some Canadians are taking a page from their american cousins and using emergency
rooms as a clinic. This adds to wait times and leads to complaints from patients and medical staff alike.

I would like to point out that in some Provinces {NB for example}, many people have been on wait lists for a family doctor.I've heard of some that have been waiting 4-5 years for a doctor. Unfortunately the ER is often their only option, as the walk in clinics will take a certain # of people for the day then shut the doors.

It really doesn't work that way. Palin can't with one hand condemn government run healthcare and then on the other hand embraces it when it directly benefits her family.
If you talk the talk, you’ve got to walk the walk.
Hypocrisy, thy name is Palin.

There is a delicious sense of irony that all this was brought to light by her daughter's lawyers.

There are already death panels - try to get any procedures approved for cancer these days and you will find out about the insurance company death panels.

Typical Palin...she is always out for a buck...no wonder she has her grandchild on the public dole.
