Welcome to the Socialympics! The 2012 games will undoubtedly go down in history as the most social Olympics yet.

The International Olympic Committee, Team USA, London 2012 and over 2,000 Olympians past and present are all active on various social networks.

Brands have learned, too, that scoring big at the Olympics means more than just a flashy ad during a key event. Innovative campaigns, like Procter & Gamble's "Thank You Mom" tributes, are built for social sharing.
