When you settle into a night of Grammy action on Sunday, chances are you'll be doing it with your tablet or smartphone in hand, primed for action after weeks of extensive social media build-up.

Yep, the Grammy Awards have gone digital, going after music fans where they live: online. This year, fans on Facebook and Pinterest could play games for a chance to win tickets to the show. And an app, plus Tumblr, Google+ and Instagram pages all helped get fans excited for the program.
