“I got polled in that one and said I was voting repug and voting for Miller. I'm a ewe and can vote either repug or all other parties. Several of my liberal friends are voting repug so they can vote for Miller. The idea being that Lisa's ranking in the Senate as #4 repug is worth defeating. We all know how she got such ranking so fast, a repug yes woman. But people up here are so odd he might just win. and if he had a good showing Lisa would stray further to the right. She wasn't a repug robot while serving in the State legislature but the power that comes with being a repug yes woman has seduced her. So I am voting tomorrow for anyone on the open primary ballot which is anyone but a repug (closed primary)”
“I saw Specter on hardball last night - he appeared less than sharp and together. He appeared quite disconnected, he just wanted to repeat the same old campaign slogans. I love the comparison of the clip with GWB saying he is such a great guy and then Obama "loving" him. Specter sure seems to be an opportunist, if I lived in Penn sure wouldn't vote for him.”
“Poor John McCain. His lack of judgment and intelligence came through clearly when he picked Palin for his VP. He sold his soul to the repubs to get the nomination. It's too bad he didn't know when it was time to quit and will leave the SEnate a disgraced man. He lost his good place in history.”

“I've said it since 2004: the closest McCain would have gotten to the presidency was when Kerry offered him the VP spot, which he turned down.”
“Hair smair--it is the ugliness in her heart and head that we should be adressing. I saw part of the Hannity interview that this picture comes from and it is appalling that anyone would ask her an opinion on anything. Even with Hannity's prompting she had a hard time remembering what sound bites she was supposed to regurgitate. She is disgusting”
“In my book Chris did a good job sticking with and calling out the hypocracy of Phillips. But his totally lame interview with Bart Stupak just prior to Phillips was disgusting. Chris, like Stupak, can not see beyond his Catholic upbringing to ask the right questions. Chris blew it with Stupak.”

“Yeah a really great interview. Chris Matthews, the hypocrit, moments later had story on Brett Baer's interview with POTUS with the critique that Brett was interupting. Look in the mirror Chris!”
“The story comes up short. Not only did Palin buy her own books and spent money from her PAC for her attorney Van Flein for "Troopergate" Van Flein is also Bristol Palin's attorney in her custody battle with Levi going on in the Palmer courts. Van Flein is Bristol Palins attorney of record, I wonder if he is being paid through the PAC for the custody fight and whether that is legal?”

“Let's hope Levi's attorney gets record of payments to her faux corporation. A bimbo asking for 4k a month in child support and driving around in a Cadallac Escalade, rent free apartment, and more need to be slapped upside the head and investigated.”

“Willow was involved in breaking an entering.. doing drugs in a vacant house... Is Van Flein the lawyer for Willow too? That sure is one busy lawyer!”
“i'm from a red state too - but we just gotta keep up the calls. If you call the number for Campaign for Responsible Health Reform at the 877-234-9199 they will not patch you through to your Senator unless you are against "government run health care" just talk to a supervisor and insist that you be patched through. If nothing else you are eating up their phone line and there is a certain pleasure in that.
“As a small business owner I got a brochure from the "Campaign for Responsible Health Reform" sponsored by the US Chamber of Commerce --- they asked me to call to tell them I don't want government run health care
so I called 877-234-9199 and let them know that I wanted a robust public option in the health care reform being considered now. and they patched me through to first Murkowski and on the second call to Begich. The third fourth and fifth call I picked Murkowski or Begich alternate times - my next call will be for Murkowski again. Hey, it gives the telephone answerer some income at the expense of the US Chamber of Commerce and they can patch you through to your favorite Senator and you can tell them again that you want health care reform that is meaningful.
Call 877-234-9199 and "MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD" US Chamber of Commerce is giving you access to your senator for free.

“Good for you! I know other small business owners and all they do is whine about how much more they'll pay in taxes.”

“I could camp on my 2 senators' office stoop and beg for a public option and they would both step over me while running to vote against the entire health care bill.
I've written and called till I'm blue in the face.”

“You will note below that most of the beautiful comments are from the mother of the mother. I am a grandmother for the first time, my granddaughter is 8 months old. although we live in the same town my husband and I are granted little time with our granddaughter. Because you see we are the parents of the father of our grandchild and we were told early on that as such we will not be as involved with our grandchild. My husband and I are crushed and so very sad. So all you mothers of the mother remember there are loving mother of the father too.”
“Ghosts only haunt catholics because they are so superstitious, and the ghosts do not only come in the night as you state but haunt 24/7. Stupak is a DINO, is part of the FAMILY and wants to take over the United States for the Pope.”
“My father lived in Stupak's district and was a democrat but always warned Stupak not to think with his religious beliefs. My father (and step mother) will haunt Stupak from their graves as he is forcing his particular brand of religion upon the rest of us through this legislation. One wonders how far American women have risen above mere chattel status when a pretty boy Stupak can control what our lives will be and our choices. ARe American women any better off than Afghan women? I think not. Go get him dad for your daughters and granddaughters.”

Funny, that's exactly the phrase that came to my mind, and he's not even good -looking, just excessively coiffed. Unfortunately, "manicured boy" doesn't have the right ring, and I can't think of any other phrase that does. Maybe "petty boy"? Oh, I got it: "prissy boy"!”

“Oh dear God.
Now Democrats are threatening ghosts coming in the night to haunt their political foes? And this guy is a DEMOCRAT.
“thanks for reminding us of the history of Sarah Palin's rogue status. She's a gold digger, gonna make lots of money although not from my purse. She jumped ship as governor (thank goodness she's gone) to write a book quickly because she's fading in attraction both physically and politically.”
“The only good thing that has come about from the Sarah Palin drama over the past year is that the rest of the US now knows that Alaska is not located in the south Pacific Ocean and Shannyn Moore has risen in fame and fortune. I listened to Shannyn on the local station (miss the discussions she brought to the air waves) and enjoyed her participation in local political action events. KUDOs to Shannyn”
