“RIght? I saw the entire video on another site. This news site blows - giving half the info!”

“I have mentioned it in previous posts.  But since you asked, un-nicely, I'll repeat myself.  He is the person who has been trained to call the cops if he's assaulted.  If she spit on him or choked him (such a small woman, I'm sure he was near death from her choke hold--NOT), then his training says he should stop the bus, call the cops and detain her until they get there.  He didn't do that.

His training also says that he should report all incidents on his bus.  After hitting her and tossing her off the bus, he went back to driving his route.  When his shift was over, he didn't mention the altercation.  No mention of hitting her, her choking him or her spitting on him.  Makes me think that this has happened before and he got away with it.  Then when caught, he offers up a self defense argument.  Yeah, right.  Its not self defense if you have enough time to stop your bus, put it in park, get out of your seat and hit a small woman with all the force you can muster.

I'm also sadden by the number of black people who think he was well within his rights to hit her.  If he had been a white bus driver, there would be marches calling for him to be in jail.  If she'd been a white woman (he probably wouldn't have hit her), there would be a hue and cry about the thuggery of black”
