Exposing Glenn Beck as a Dangerous Fraud

Commented Apr 8, 2010 at 16:04:58 in Media

“The article was long on anti Beck name calling and accusation of what a fraud he is and how stupid, really, really stupid anyone who isn't a flaming liberal is....
no one wants to talk about the political philosophy objections, the ideas or the fiscal, of both parties spending our money that is borrowed from china a rate that would put Imelda to shame as a light weight.
hey, let's listen to rev Wright..............same dif.. it is like slinging "your own projections" at the other team (them vs us). On and pre-kindergarten days are so over........”

“Let's not attack them either, like clueless or race card that you won't be "left to simply label and attack..." as you said......your true points and defense of facts will be lost and emotional defensiveness is a distraction in the debate. I am very glad to see a young person like you following articles, debates, participating and getting involved. It is very discouraging that fewer than half of eligible voters may vote. I like seeing Americans getting stirred up enough to start getting involved, whatever party they choose. A few keep asking where were we during the Bush years..that, somehow, they know we are suddenly speaking and never did before? That doesn't sound too reasonable.... I am a committed 'independent", aligned with neither party and disgusted with both. I attended one town hall with my congressman and a tea party person was there at a table giving out info. I signed up and appreciate some of the voiced objections re out of control federal spending. I figure there is a reasonable representation of unglued extreme people in the tea party, in the democratic party and the republican party and the communist party etc., etc. Ofcourse there is. I believe there is a huge "middle road", non racists, non reactionary group of citizens who will still have diverse opinions and diverse voting choices on any number of diverse issues and details that concern us all...and I like that! Just vote!”

“Thanks for "it's about the political spending sprees and issues" and political arrogance in both parties for many, many, many years...but people are going to believe what they are invested in believeing and finger pointing and name calling rants seem to be what some want to do with their freedom of speech...which is OK. I just hope that we can all get more people to take an interest in voting and learning about what is going on after we elect these characters to public office..I am with you....politicians on the hill deserve a lot of scrutiny...”

“I love that we have freedom to assemble and speak in this country. I like that we are not all the same with the same opinions and feelings. Did anyone ever consider that one or more of the Bibles exchanged may have been "on purpose" by a believer who figured the distributors of the porn might need or be blessed by the Bible? Who knows? Sounds like an interesting event.”

Attention Democrats: When the House Is on Fire, Don't Cower, Grab a Hose

Commented Mar 3, 2010 at 17:29:05 in Politics

“At my age, 62, I do not find it helpful to stereotype Americans as Liberals or Conservatives, with what seems to be endless negative and judgemental adjectives hurled around about "either" and both.
I am a social liberal, pro civil rights, abortion rights, gay marriage rights and gun rights and more...I am a big time fiscal conservative who is completely disgusted with 90% percent of elected politicians who are now and have been for many years growing federal government, growing the tax take and arrogantly indulging in years of manic and pathological spending sprees that have nothing to do with responding to the needs of us who pay them. If I handled my finances the way the federal government handles our moeny I'd be out on the street and homeless. I love the clarity of Krauthammer and I love Link TV. It is not really terrific how complex and interesting we are, America is and the freedoms we enjoy in voicing our opinions and ideas? I think so. :-)”
