“Why is this smarmy no-talent spawn of an 80s sitcom "star" given any air time AT ALL? Swear to god that Blurred Lines thing was nothing but a rip-off of Marvin Gaye; if it wasn't for that hook they stole it never would have seen the light of day. Go away, pudgy little man.”
“If I'd been there, I would have been shouting in *favor* of the Free Masons! Obviously, this woman hasn't heard that most of the founding fathers and presidents were Masons. Make sure you actually KNOW what the country is founded on before you go mental on C-span...”
“I am a 5ft tall, 60 y.o. woman, and I promise you I would have made an attempt to carry this man myself rather than stand back an allow this public humiliation of a vulnerable human being. Where the F has the humanity in this world gone to?”

“I wouldn't buy a set of Ginsu knives from Whoopi Goldberg; why would I care what she thinks about nuclear proliferation?”

“and you wonder why you have zero fans ...it's because you want to die in a nuclear war ...your kids melting , you melting ......good maybe we can arrainge that for you ....Let me take you to a nuclear reactor and put you inside the core ...the fun to watch as you die would be so dam cool .......your skin falling off...your teeth falling out .....I would love to watch that ....and maybe we can put a mirror in front of you so you can watch it happen to you”
“Oh, don't I know it! My father worked as a physician in a California State mental institution outside of L.A. in the 60s and 70s. Ronnie, as governor, *decimated* the system, turning 10s of thousands of hopeless cases onto the streets to fend for themselves, as they still do to this day. His statement at the time to justify these actions was: "in my day, people took care of their own and kept these mentally ill family members at home - they would never think of asking for support from the government!" Yeah, typical repub heartlessness...and Regan still stands as their icon! Ironic that he spent the final decades of his miserable life in diapers as a "mentally handicapped" person himself.”

“If she was named Gillhooly, or Moskowitz, I doubt she'd be saying "Oh yes, I remember being at Cannes when I was 8 with my father... I remember when my first film debuted here..." She's a real life Marie Antoinette: "Let them eat cake!"”
“Yeah. My father who was born a little after the turn of the 20th Century had the following probs in his teens/20s:
Graduated high school in 1929 -- Hello, Great Depression and *seriously* NO jobs!
Road the rails with hundreds of thousands of out of work young hipsters like himself and lived in cool boarding houses (because, like, there *were* no, like, studio apartments yet...)
Sometimes, like, he would even EAT once a day! Score!
Almost enlisted for the Spanish civil war because they would clothe and feed him (*sort* of a "job"), but decided the bullets might be a downer, so he took an low-paying internship digging ditches (that sort of thing really builds your resume!).
Got his head cracked open by a union-busting thug with a club when he staged a sit-in to get workers' rights in the auto industry in Detroit - but I'm sure he'd *much* rather have been at that lame-o Occupy Wall Street thingy.
Oh, and he had to get through his 20s with no cell phone, laptop, blog page, lattes or sweatshop gear from GAP. But his youth nowhere NEAR blows as hard as *yours," dude!”

“I signed it. I live on the East coast now, but for most of my life I lived on the Pacific coast. The ocean is a miracle and all the creatures in it - more than we can count; more than we have even discovered yet - are a meaningful and HUGE segment of the ecosystem. Every time people wonder: "why did all those seals/whales/dolphins beach themselves like that?" It can be attributed to Naval underwater sound weapons testing, and oil company testing. And if you don't give a rat's ass about animals and the environment, then keep in mind that WE are on the extinction ladder too; how many crucial species and wild spaces can we devastate before it becomes our turn?”

“While every child does deserve a parent's love, it can be dodgy adopting children from certain backgrounds. If that child comes from a drug or alcohol addicted mother who used while the baby was in utero, there is a heller amount of potential physical, emotional, and addictive factors that will probably come into play as the child gets out of their toddler phase. I have known several couples who adopted such children as babies, but at around 5, they turned into (for want of a better phrase) psychos bent on hurting the other children in the family, attacking the mother, destroying the house, etc. If that's what you sign up for, then you're a hero AND a saint. But if you're a normal person, you will kiss your sanity and your marriage goodbye. Just know ALL of the facts beforehand and don't romanticize about every baby adding to your happy family unit.”
“OK, this woman is officially my heroine. I just turned 60 and announced my Crone status to the "world" via my FB name in Scots Gaelic: Cailleach (Elder woman) Buidseach (sorceress). Perhaps I have another 30 years + of thriving and growing in my lifespan too!”
“At 5 feet tall myself, I recall the most horrifying moment of my dating life was being asked out by a 6'7" man.....who wanted to take me dancing.”

“Consider it a compliment. I'm 5'2, and my first husband was 6'3". My current husband is 6'1". It's been proven in various psychological studies that men tend to be attracted to small women, and women tend to be attracted to tall men.”
