This Is Why So Many Reasonable People Think Anti-Marijuana Crusaders Look Ridiculous

This Is Why So Many Reasonable People Think Anti-Marijuana Crusaders Look Ridiculous

“We have far too many young people in jail for simple possession and the illegal trade only invigorates the Mexican drug cartels. Reduce our jail population and eliminate the money for Mexican cartels all in one fell swoop. The states can all make money by regulating & taxing, reduce their jail population so police can focus on more important issues. Some states might even adopt an old slogan: Don't worry, be happy.”

“For anyone living along side the park, the deers are a headache, depending on what your landscape is. Why not funnel some RCP deer into the zoo for Cheetahs, Lions, Jaguars whatever. Make it a Christmas present or do it every 3 months. Forget the sharpshooters. Get trackers who can design this.”

“Most Rock & Roll bands/writers/publishers are members of BMI, not ASCAP. Agreements w. ASCAP don't cover music in BMI.”

NashGuy on Aug 16, 2012 at 16:24:25

“Agreed, to be safe they need these with each of the pros. In this case, it was ASCAP and their band. BMI has really grown. Thanks.”

“I don't believe ASCAP covers BMI writers/publishers. There are many more R&R bands in BMI than ASCAP which historically is more high-brow. Romney should choose some classical melodies instead. Without lyrics they fit right in to Mitt's opaque positions.”

Unmasking The NRA's Inner Circle: Mother Jones

Commented Jan 16, 2013 at 17:35:11 in Politics

“There has to be over 150 million gun owners in America. The NRA says it has 4 million members but I think that number is questionable. Their membership is also transient. They lose hundreds of thousands of members every year. It's such a problem, the NRA has over 30 direct mail solicitations designed to retain members who leave. Why do they think they represent all gun owners? It's a fiction. They represent gun manufacturers. They should be treated as a gun manufacturer's lobby and largely ignored.”

Florida Jobs Report Undermines Rick Scott's Official Optimism

“In earlier days, he would be drawn & quartered... slowly. He is the Tin Man of Florida. He has to wear a shirt with his name on it to remind him of his name. His insurance policies only benefit insurance companies and his so-called Jobs promises are nothing but bluster. The tea party got him there but the tea party and all their minions will eat crow in the next election.”

The Most Free-Spirited Colleges

“Pretty good group I would say without knowing all of the colleges. Whether it's 1 or 30, if a teenager wants to get a feel for different colleges, this list is useful. I went to Wes and I would say it's not for people to do nothing. You have to want to do something. You have to work but how you work can be very uniguely designed.”
