“You may be surprised next time. Back at you! Obama does not stand for the principles I uphold. Socialism does not work. Look at history.”

“you are missing action by Obama? Good. Then make a call to Speaker to start working on Obama's rhetoric. We have a system where the Congress, Senate and the President ALL have to take action. It is very clear to ALL (perhaps not to you) who is holding the action back.”
“Of course not! You are one of sheep that follows the "Pied Piper." It's all rhetoric and no action! You may never come out from under the trance!”

“you need to take a lesson in civics. In democratic systems, there are elections and one person wins. He/she becomes president to all. If you can not accept that, better get used to that because this may be the case for you for next additional 8 years.”
“No, he is not! Maybe we should show him the door! He is not worth a damn.”

“Elkscent - how is it down there at the bottom of the gopTP barrel? Sitting there with your FOX friends, covering eyes and ears and singing lalalalala....
(How can a fellow American be so willfully ignorant and nasty! Sad, very sad!)”
“No one, conservatives or liberals, wish for "premies" to die. There are some health problems that are beyond our abilities to allow "God's Children" to survive. We, as physicians, can only do so much. We do NOT "keep" babies dying, per the AMA!
You also misunderstand "peoples rights" and the need to have wealthy or "better-off" people pay for poorer peoples healthcare. There is no law that says that! Is it a law that says you have to pay for 'My" clothes or car because I am poor? If you believe in a higher power, maybe you do it because it is the right thing to do, not a necessity!”
“Let's see what things look like after the first of the year when Obamacare tries to recruit doctors. This may be the next dilemma. If AHC decides to reimburse doctors 70% of Medicare reimbursement, it very well could be a lot like the computer glitch. You may not be able to "choose your own doctor" because there will not be any!”
Craig Schultz on Nov 12, 2013 at 01:22:58
“Doctors already have a quota of how many Midicare/Medicaid patients they will accept, and have for years. Unless the number of Doctors somehow doubles, people may end up with policies that not only can they not afford to use, considering the deductibles but more so, not be able to find Doctors willing to accept their coverage.
That's not to mention that one really has no idea what Doctors, clinics or hospitals will accept a given plan unless doing quite a bit of research themselves to find out who is accepting what coverage.
Kicking a lot of people with coverage out of their plans is only going to exacerbate that problem.”
The viable alternative is to stop it! It needs to be stopped before severe economic consequences occur.
Obama is anything but refreshing. He is a "community organizer" with no clue and no experience in Healthcare. What Jonestown Koolaid type drinker are you?
Our first clue this will not work was computer malfunction. Do you have any clue what the next is? Well, it is what doctors are going to sign up for it?
If doctors are reimbursed 70% of Medicare reimbursement, as we are hearing, you will have very few takers. Good Luck pushing that Barack! That may be the final death blow as patients will truly not "be able to keep your doctors."”
“The next wave in 2014...Will doctors sign on to Obamacare?
I doubt it. The alleged reimbursement is 70% of what Medicare now pays. Doctors will take a 30% hit. Malpractice insurance is increasing, employee salaries are increasing, rents are going up, etc, etc, etc. Who wants to be a doctor? Not me anymore. Good luck getting good healthcare people! Obamacare, can not, and will not work except for a select few of the "entitled."”

“And just think, union members are exempt from the ACA. I guess that is what you get when you are members in good standing of the CPUSA.”
DeanAdams on Nov 6, 2013 at 21:04:39
“SO private insurance sold through the exchanges are reimbursing doctors at 70% of Medicare rates? Who misled you into believing that?”

“Who says we got "good" healthcare up to this point. I've been in several foreign countries who have universal healthcare for all.... had some major work done.... they were superior in every way. Better facilities, better doctors.... choice of many different doctors.... I found out about the lies that the righties have put forth first hand.”
“That goes for McCain & McConnell in the Senate and Pelosi in the Congress. It's time to get rid of the "Establishment" and get some fresh blood and new ideas in the Senate and Congress. To see what McCain did to Cruz sickened me.
When you start seeing people "pile on" like they are doing to Cruz, it means they do not want to move over because they are threatened!”
“If ObamaCare is so good, why are the President and congressmen unwilling to take it themselves? If I were a president of a company, for example, and I passed a law that my employees were to follow, I would also expect that I be a part of that law too! Why are there exemptions for some corporations and not others, why corporations and not individuals? I thought all Americans were equal!
We will see the results of Obamacare very soon, and it will be disasterous for most!”
“Hey, hey, hey, Mr. Obama and his clowns closed the parks to the vets and Mr. saggy puss" Reid would not allow a bill, which the Repubs presented, to open the parks. You need to open your eyes girl. Have you no clue Obama is wrecking this country with the debt. Enjoy your food stamps and free cell phones! Where is the budget the Senate was suppose to have 5 years ago and forward? It is people like you that will allow us to drown in debt! Sit back and enjoy the ride to retirement...”
“Hey Victor, Do you want to be a doctor? I think you will make more money being a historian, don't you? Who is going to pay for the training of our doctors? Who is going to take tort reform and reform it?
Most doctors come out of school with loans of $200,000 or more. Let's see Victor,
at 5% interest on the loan, that's $10,000 of interest per year. Let's say I work for a group and make$100,000 my first year. Oh, I get 40% of the $100,000, the rest goes to the group. Now I'm at $30,000 and still have to pay malpractice of $10,000, child care, food; pay for entertaining the new wife. Oh, I forgot I have to pay $500/month for Obamacare. Let's see $500/month= $6,000. Wow, guess what? I forgot I have not paid the principal on my loan of $200,000. How am I going to pay that off?
Victor, do you think anyone in their right mind wants to be a doctor today. I can make more money being a historian! Where are the doctors? Are they going to be hatched?
Obamacare will be a disaster because you have not addressed medical school costs or tort reform!”
“You have no clue, do you? Most doctors come out of medical school with loans over
$200,000. They may be lucky if their interest rates are 5%. Do the math. $200,000 x 5%
interest is $10,000 per year. Now, most doctors are very lucky if they make $100,000 their first year. If they work for a group, they might, if they are lucky, make 40%. That is
$40,000. Take out the $10,000 in interest and that is $30,000. They have not paid their malpractice payment which may be $10,000 for the first year (you get a break the 1st year, then it goes up). Now they are at $20,000 and they have not paid for their car or bike, the new wife or kids, child care, or even food. Let's just say that comes to $10,000.
Now come the taxes which need to be paid on all the money you make. Oh wait, I still have maybe $5,000 left and I have not paid my Obamacare health insurance which is $500/month. Oh, $500 x 12 = $6,000. Wow! Guess what? I forgot the $200,000. I have not paid on the principal, so I still need to pay on that. Am I still going to want to be a doctor and have to "just turn a dial?" Maybe I should study up and be a garbage collector and let the city pay for my health care! Do the math. Is it worth being a doctor?”
“So... Who is going to pay for all this? How is this going to be paid?
Do our youth realize they are going to be "on the hook" for payment of Obamacare?
What is going to be done about tort reform? Will doctors continue to be paid the same?
How do our doctors feel about Obamacare?
Will doctors be able to stay in practice to take care of us if their fees are reduced and their expenses increase?
When are we going to have these questions answered?
Folks, life is not "Free!" It comes with a COST!”
WondererofAges on Aug 1, 2013 at 10:15:31
“Are you really so uninformed as to NOT realize YOU ALREADY ARE PAYING FOR ALL OF THE UNINSURED who are forced to go to Emergency Rooms for even the most basic medical care?”
Vixter on Aug 1, 2013 at 10:09:22
“Yes, freedom does come with a cost...hopefully one that will put America in the company of every other civilized nation.”
Victor Juarez on Aug 1, 2013 at 10:08:53
“Most of those questions have been answered already. The plan is paid for by law already. The CBO has already estimated that the ACA will reduce the deficit over 10yrs. Doctors will benefit from this plan more than the insurance companies will. People will pay less out of their pockets for premiums. You do understand that all of these criticisms that are being made about this program are the exact same ones that were made about medicare and medicaid when it was being implemented, right? I have the burden of understanding history and understanding that they were wrong then and they are wrong now. This is only a good thing for our country. The only way to make it better is to make a universal healthcare with a public option for everyone!”
“Maybe you should look at why the NRA was formed in the late 1800's. One reason... after the Civil War, Blacks were given their 2nd amendment rights. This allowed them to have guns to protect themselves from the KKK. Thank goodness there are several states that allow Americans the freedom of our 2nd amendment rights. I would not consider living in a state like N.Y.”
