“if you are not an american indian you should shut your trap”

“LMFAO@you..... as a matter of fact. I'm not here by choice. I'm persona non grata in my home country, my father was kicked out afer fighting for human rights and spending years in jail. Technically my status was political dissident.
P.S. I'm not european caucasian so I didn't take nothing from Indigenous Americans. Just so you don't make a fool of yourself in the future, "indian" is considered derogatory, this is North America, not a country in Asia.”
“The problem is that housing will never recover until homes become more affordable. Even now they are still high for average income families to afford in many parts of the country. The goverment trying to prop up prices will only extend the pain.”
“Wondering how many people will be helped by this, who took all their equity out to buy time-shares, boats, bmws etc., and even though they can afford their payments, do not make them because they have no equity left?”
SF TKF on Apr 13, 2010 at 14:28:19
“This is something I think about too. I really only know two types of people who are underwater: those who already pulled their equity out, and those who put no money down.”
“Yes credit card debts can be discharged in bankruptsy...that is why rates are so high on them. They are unsecured debts. Mortgage rates are low because the risk to the lender is lower. If banks have to lower principal mortgages then rates would be much higher.
Foreclosure allows people who rent and have saved to buy a home at a lower price.”

“cars boat second home, almost any contract can be rewritten in bankruptcy court. There was a time not too long ago that the primary residence could also be modified. Judges will only do this if they see a plan that is ovtainable to pay for these items. If the number still don't work then the loan won't be rewritten (to market value). Credit cards are high because of lack of regulation, period.”
Sysaphean on Apr 13, 2010 at 10:11:54
“Mortgages can be discharged as well. Mortgage rates are currently cheap because the Federal Reserve has been supplying the cash to keep mortgage rates low, something that will end shortly.”
“I have not one ounce of sympathy for the Palestinians. It is really simple. Don't fire rockets at Israel and Israel won't have to respond.”

“It would be nice if there really was a causal link between rockets and Israeli violence but as we observed in the cease-fire months leading to the Gaza Massacre, Israeli kills wantonly and at will.
Hamas respected that truce, Israel broke the truce on Nov 4, 2008 (Obama election day), escalated and invaded shortly after.
The Gaza Massacre wasn't an isolated incident - there had been multiple attacks on Gaza since the IDF "withdrew" in 2005 (Operation Summer Rains was the largest - hundreds more dead Palestinains). Since the end of the Massacre a further 88 Gazans have been killed by Israel, of course this isn't featured in the MSM.
“Anyone posting critical comments on Israel, are huge hypocrits, if they live west of the Missouri River. Unless you are prepared to give up you house and land to the American Indians or Mexicans who are the rightful owners. Didn't we just take the land from them? Israel won their land after being attacked from the West Bank. Sorry, facts are facts.”
David Rozgonyi on Mar 13, 2010 at 14:30:53
“Fine. War in 1967 and land was "won". Fine. And what about the settlements between then and now?
Are you so daft that you believe that if one country keeps appropriating another country's soil for FORTY YEARS, then there will be no hard feelings?”

“The big issue should be ' How to get along with your neighbor. '”
kentah on Mar 13, 2010 at 13:46:39
“How are the two analogous? And as regards "Israel won their land after being attacked from the West Bank", who actually attacked whom?”
skialethia on Mar 13, 2010 at 13:37:57
“Flimsy excuse for justifying an injustice that took place 60 years ago? Isn't that really what the Jews did to the Palestinians? They came and took back land that they used to live on 2000 years ago.
That was an agregious injustice that must be repaired. Palestinians should be allowed the right of return and be returned land plundered in a war they themselves did not wage!”

“What does the missouri river have to do with it we took the whole country? The glaring difference is Israel is doing it right now and it can be prevented.”

“And for those critics living to the east you say what?”
“So when does the US return the American West to the Indians? Same thing. Actually, not really. Israel was attacked and won.”
MarcEdward on Mar 11, 2010 at 18:28:34
“(1) The Palestinians didn't attack Israel. They did flee in the face of oncoming war, and were not allowed to return to their homes. Get your facts straight!
(2) Native Americans can freely move anywhere in the USA they want to, can purchase homes where ever they want to, vote, etc. Can the displaced Palestinians return?
You have no clue about the talking points you parrot.”
Y2KCockroach on Mar 11, 2010 at 18:06:51
“What has Israel "won"? These new "settlements" may as well have bulls-eyes on them for the rockets that they are going to face. More people will blow themselves up, for the mere privilege of blowing Israelis up. More people on the planet will come to see Israel as the pariah state in this equation. And more innocent people will live in fear and hatred, because their leaders cannot negotiate in good faith. A real "win-win" you've got there, buddy......”

“So you are saying Israeli politicians and generals are liars?
General Yitzhak Rabin, Chief of Staff, Israeli Defence Forces:
"I do not believe that Nasser wanted war. The two divisions which he sent into Sinai on May 14 would not have been enough to unleash an offensive against Israel. He knew it and we knew it." (Le Monde, February 28, 1968 )
Menachem Begin, Minister without Portfoli:
"In June l967, we again had a choice. The Egyptian Army concentrations in the Sinai approaches do not prove that Nasser was really about to attack us. We must be honest with ourselves. We decided to attack him." (New York Times, August 21, 1982)
General Mattitiahu Peled, Chief Quartermaster-General's Branch, Israeli Defence Forces, General Staff:
"All those stories about the huge danger we were facing because of our small territorial size, an argument expounded once the war was over, had never been considered in our calculations prior to the unleashing of hostilities. While we proceeded towards the full mobilisation of our forces, no person in his right mind could believe that all this force was necessary to our defence against the Egyptian threat. To pretend that the Egyptian forces concentrated on our borders were capable of threatening Israel's existence does not only insult the intelligence of any person capable of analysing this kind of situation, but is primarily an insult to the Israeli army." (Le Monde, June 3, 1972)”

“Hold on, there, Pard: Israel was attacked because they have invaded another people's homeland and occupy it. They have not won, they have not yet lost...the war continues to this day....As for giving the West back to the Indians...we did something better...we have made them full and equal citizens, and we have paid reparations, and we honor them in as many ways as we can legally...Any Indian (Native American, First People, etc) can rise in America to be president, or anything they desire....No arab can say that in Israel....that war continues...”
