“Rumor has it the atomic explosions in the mid 1940s opened a portal between dimensions allowing evil alien entities to come through, thus slowly meticulously harvesting us for genetic material while terra-forming the Earth so the atmosphere would support them instead of us. It also allowed "Nachos" to come through. It was a good trade. You know you're dealing with the most evil of those entities if they pour that runny yellow cheese on them though. Keep alert out there people!”

“I think the quickest way is to kill a conversation is when you're asked "how you doing" you answer brutally and honestly. Even ones Mother remembers how to run, ha... Second choice: ask for spare change...”
“I frequently disagree with Ann Coulter and find him to be, far and away, one of the ugliest, meanest and frankly, dumbest men on the political stage. He should wear turtle necks if he wants us to pretend he's a women, and should pull it completely over his head, thus stifling his hate, if he wants to be taken more serious.”
“Please allow the monolithic "left" to hear the message and still disdain the idiot mess of a messenger. This is clearly a case of the racist tea bagger pot calling the government black employee a black kettle, or something like that...”

“It all sounds like "He's So Fine" by the Chaffons to me, ha. It takes some big brass ones to sue originators because you steal from them because you have no talent, but it takes little itty bitty tiny near invisible ones to steal from them in the first place. In 5 years we'll be saying "Robin who?"”
“Maybe the death penalty doesn't stop murders. Maybe. But it sure stops that one from killing again, as we've seen repeatedly. Anyone crying for the 500+ people these executed murdered? In this case a 3 for 1. Those 3 were taken "ahead of their time" too. Well figuratively. They would have lived longer without that goodnight nurse.”

“I do not hear anyone saying anything good about the murderer. She committed the crime - she deserves to be locked up for life. Capital punishment says more about us than her.”
“Yes, it's kind of thinly veiled "rape culture" but Yahoo chat boards are full of this and much much worse! Did you know on the ebay yahoo stock board they've hosted an organized gang of cyber stalkers, openly harassing, cyber bullying and publicly death threatening people by their real life names for years?!?!? This gang all circles around ebay's z50com and VW, who is John Osborne and his boyfriend, a San Rafael accountant named Patrick Mitchell. The worse part is Yahoo knows all about this and hosts it, rather than arrests them. It;a all been a precursor to this giant NSA spying scandal. No one is safe on Yahoo. No one. So why will the CEO expect dainty treatment?”

“Sure, the Occupy protestors "asked" to be abused and terrorized hoping they'd all share a paltry million. Tell that to the veteran the police shot in the face and nearly killed. The proper way is to make the individual cops pay this, not the ever poorer taxpayer. PS: Does it comfort you to kiss the fascist hand that would love to beat you and take away your rights? Sad.”

“Michelle nicked her playing style and "rebel" schtick off a man who really meant it, Charles Rick Kelly (Rick Charles on some releases) in early 1980s. She could never steal his style. It's a shame he didn't get famous, as it'd be far better music without the idiocy and hateful remarks. History is a cruel cold b***h.
I'm in San Francisco, but not gay, so I don't have a lot of say in the Pride Parade, but have to admit this year's was completely off the rails politically. Especially the Bradley Manning affair. Justice and freedom for that man should be THAT job #1 this year, especially if he's a gay man. Seriously. If he suffers the nation will, all freedoms, and future Pride parades as well.”
“No, no Martorano, it's still not too late to shoot yourself. Probably the one hit you couldn't do. You pretend to have a gram of remorse unless you need to sell books. The fact you're making money on this ugliness, this sullied life you lived, the bloody smear you left on society, and got off so horribly light, makes me want question, and deal with, all my neighbors regarding the witless protection program.”
“I'm offended you misuse the great "Paladin" to spew your false screed that it's a liberal failing that banksters got bailed out. Paladin was about honestly and helping people against criminals. He would backhand your mealy mouthed flailing of facts.
The Federal Reserve (not a federal department) was foisted on us by Woodrow Wilson when most of congress was on vacation. It's had a rotting effect on our money and institutions ever since. It had NOTHING to do with liberals or progressives.
No Progressive anywhere was upset JP used his own money. The capitalist system had panic after panic since its inception. That IS the system. It's when insiders buy little folk's assets up for pennies on the dollar. THAT is why regulations happened.
The recent panic happened because those protections have been removed and capitalists are more voracious. Since they had their hands deep up the butts of every politician, they didn't have to use their own money this time, and got the tax payer to foot the bill, on debt.
I bet there's no liberal or progressive anywhere who wouldn't have loved the free market to grab every penny of the banksters. It was only because they would've dragged the whole world down with them, that the bailout happened. The bankers all deserve to be in debtors prison. Liberal and Progressive folk have every reason to despise government AND greedy corporations. Our "corporatist" fascist system must end.”

“And BTW, the majority of wealthy voting districts voted Democrat in both 2008 and '12 national elections, so stop kidding yourself about where the wealth lies. Democrats are just as deceitful about that as they are about their campaign platforms that say they are working for the benefit of the poor and middle class !”
wirepaladinSanFran on Jun 15, 2013 at 07:48:25
“Number first Wilson was one of the premier " progressives". Democrats who controlled both the House and Senate drafted and passed what became known as the Federal Reserve Act in 1913. The act created the Federal Reserve Bank, numerous branches of the central bank throughout the country, and the Federal Reserve Board, whose members were–and still are–appointed by the President. The successful creation of the new banking system is regarded as Wilson's crowning domestic achievement.
Today politicians, “regulate” industry by starting the campaign cash flowing from those in the industry, buying government favors (restrictions on competition, monopoly privileges, government contracts, etc.) or to avoid being on the wrong end of legislation (laws that give your competitors advantages over you). The politicians ( both parties) are the greedy ones, but liberals accuse the corporations. It’s a game that Washington created, not the business communities. Pointing blame at the corporations is like blaming the tiger for escaping the zoo and eating the zoo keeper. That’s what it was created to do. Corporations are formed for one reason, to increase the bottom line, and now you want to pin the blame on them for “ acting like corporations”. There is but one institution to blame, and it’s not multinational.”

“Wow! What a shocking and stunning surprise! Another g@y person on HuffPo! It's a good thing his parents didn't disown him over something frivolous like being anti-war, or against the bankster crimes, or against the massive Big Brother spy network, or mentioning that we have lost almost ALL our rights in America. He's "fierce" and has learned to rebel in an increasingly popular and accepted way.
To the question about "family values": disowning your children has always been one of the most cherished of conservative values.”

“In an attempt to educate: A person is not gay because they are trying "to rebel" against anything. People are gay because that is how God made them.”
“Nice puff piece on the "Commander In Thief" Huffpo! Couldn't he do all this will he rotted in jail after a nice war crimes trial at the Hague with Dick, Rummy and the boys, and the media, who never fail to puff up any little thing he does?”
“Well technically, how DID those third world box cutter guys get ALL our defense systems to stand down that day, and know about, much less do it on the same day, that our security systems were running terror drills on exactly the same incident that happened? How did they manage to make all the standard procedures fail? Much less do fancy jet maneuvers, get the exact side (out of five chances) where the missing 2 trillion dollars was being investigated? Much less get buildings to powder?”
“Technically, it wasn't "they" who did it. "They hate us for our freedoms" so Bush (and now Obama) got rid of them all. To make the enemy happy? Sept 11 is the farcical tale, the "official tale" that heralded a fascism already long in the planning, with the pieces lined up to be heavily funded.”

“Do I smell a conspiracy, John? Well, that's certainly possible. I just feel that regardless of the roots of that attack, our way of life will never be the same.”
“"We can also be nuttier than a jar of cashews". I agree with your point but bad as it was, since 911 got people believing some lone cashews can bring down three towers (3) we've allowed the really nuttiest and meanest cashews to hire only a lot of their fellow cashews, then douse themselves in hot sauce, wasabi and aspurtine and swell their departments to bushel sized. The cancer of heavy security will never be sated that things are safe enough, until they've long become the danger.
Sorry Niels, don't visit our house, we're being serially abused by drunk on power relatives lately. If it gets much "Safer" we'll come visit you. PS: I also had major trouble with immigration in the Philippines too. But at least there it's about the pesos... Happy travels my friend.”
“In short: this nation went wrong because a certain segment of the population found an easy way to make money and free land by killing Indians, Filipinos, Central and South Americans, and even our own citizens sometimes, and another certain segment of the population was willing to go kill them, and the rest of the nation did not rise up to stop them. After WW2, there was no scaling back of the standing army we weren't supposed to ever have, and the beast must be fed. Certain people make huge profit off this, own the media and all politicians, and got the rest of us to foot the bill and send our kids. Of course we cry for them, but what about the estimated 50+ million civilians (probably more) we've murdered?”
“Technically, we are NOT at war, but since WW2 (and previously when you count Central and South America, and parts of Asia) we have been hard in the empire building, police state dictator backing and forceful extraction of resources business. All soldiers should be required to read General Smedley Butler's War Id A Racket, and then come home to help fix their nation.”

“You made my day. Few people know this and it is true. We haven't declared war in a long, long time. That's why we named things "Operation Desert Storm" or "Operation Enduring Freedom", "Operation Iraqi Freedom" etc. If we declared war, the rules of engagement would be different and more difficult.
War is big business and business has been good and non stop for many years now.”
“Technically, the dirth of media coverage is because of "embedding". The powers that be blamed the media, and the nightly news bloodshed, for making Vietnam "unpopular", so they nipped that in the bud and brought us the new improved Aggressive Empire Evil 2.0”
