“I didn't really take that away from his reply, I thought it was pretty much exactly as stated. I have the advantage of being just a little bit older than Gen Y's but not really old enough to be Gen X either, and from what I've seen the amount of 20 somethings in that position because of parents is much less than the amount in the same positions simply because of the economy and other surrounding situations other than parents.”

“So where is the part of your reply that makes what Trojan505 said any less true or relevant?”

“For one thing, the whole tone of the reply was that the Trojan505 was blaming the author for seeming to blame the Gen Y'ers when that wasn't the intent of the article at all. It was a warning to overzealous parents to let their kids become independent rather than live their lives for them.
“He was asking for a password that he does not have, own or have access to. Hoping that by using a page out of the hackers handbook; by "social engineering", he thought he might talk someone into giving him a password to the database containing the information he sought.”
“The man was shot twice at point blank range with anti-riot ordinance. That is assault with a deadly weapon.
"What the man 'said'?" Are you serious??? I dont care if he cursed their mothers, their God, their children, etc... still no reason for that.
I find it interesting you choose to defend this type of UNWARRANTED violence.”

“Please quote the part in which I defended it. I didn't defend anybody or any action. Rather, I was letting folks that assumed this was a real bullet know that it was actually a rubber bullet...because the article failed to mention that which makes a big difference. Again, if I supposedly defended what happened, I'd like for you to quote me.”
“My mother is a teacher. She is up at 4:30 AM and out the door by 5:45 AM - works at the school and arrives home approx 6:00PM sometimes 8:00 PM or even 9:30 PM when she is required to work a basketball or football game. Normally, she will still have hours of work that she has to get done outside of school. She is a very intelligent woman. She also happens to be a lifelong Republican, though in the last few years she has started to admit that politicians are crooks, liars, and only out for themselves.
Now tell me again how teachers are freeloaders, you jerks.”
“...and how many crimes they've committed...and how many "little people" they have squashed like bugs to get where they are...or how small a percentage of taxes they have payed...and how many tax cuts they have gotten...and how many of their employees work for less than living wages.”
