“Seth was funny. He took digs at anyone and everyone. Get over it.”

“Hey Joe, please tell us which jokes were about people like you.... you know, since he "took digs at anyone and everyone"..... which jokes were ethnically, religiously, orientationally, against people like you. Huh Joe?
Anyone who cannot see that McFarlane is a woman hater is blind!
I really wonder what this guys sexual orientation is... clearly he is not gay as he is
absolutely obsessed with women.... I've known straight woman-haters before, and I do
think he's a woman hater. His exact "turn-ons" are hard to get a fix on... but my guess
is that he likes them QUITE young. . . illegally young. How young, I can't quite get a
fix on.... that's my guess on him. I just get such a STRONG vibe from McFarlane that
he has some really whacked out sexual fetishes.... just can't really put my finger
on it, though.”
Make that argument about G.I. Joes (as it has been made for the past 20 years), whom are supposed to be regular soldiers. Not genetic anomalies, radioactive mistakes, or Norse Gods.”

“Playboy bunnies = airbrushed (fantasy)
G I Joe's have huge muscles. So do most action figures real and plastic. People like "The Rock" are not little. I think the most normal looking action figure in our house is Indiana Jones.
I just thought my husband had a good point about both genders needing help to understand and gain a healthy body image.”
“I see your point, but I am not sure we should doubt research that is published in a journal like the American Journal of Preventative Medicine. Especially not these days, after The Lancet had to retract their "blockbuster" publication linking autism to vaccines.”
“It undermines the Democratic party if we only come down hard on people like Rep. Akin when he says something absurdly ignorant of science. We need to come down hard on Rep. Clarke for saying something absurdly ignorant of history.”

“Sorry the A-list actors and actresses aren't speaking for free at the convention... they're a little busy hosting fundraisers for Obama, so that the Dems can compete with the Repubs in the post-Citizens United world of politics.”
“I understand that colleges, public and private, are more qualified to verify addresses than gun shops.
However, going back to my original point... student ID's don't have the individual's permanent address (ie, the address they are voting from) on them. Gun licenses have permanent addresses on them, thus verifying address.”

“And I think the COLLEGE IS their permanent address depending on the state's residency laws. Some states require a year, some less.”
“I am a registered Democrat, and I agree with you... however, let's note that gun licenses are state-issued, versus school-issued. (Private schools being the question, as a public school is technically run by the state).
Just playing devil's advocate for a change, I suppose!”

“You think a gun shop is more reliable for verifying residency than a private college?”
