“F&F . Unfortunately there are some that relish in watching millions wallow in misery .”
“Belle, I am honored you think I look that young. but no I graduated in 73' and My son Pete got his master May 10 2010. Yeah term limits are sending Brian home. too bad. Seems like we always do good when it comes to Governors. Now republican house members (oh well) Denny Rehburg is about a idiot.”
“Degrees are Planning for me Forestry for my son. Are you in Colorado now? I am just north west in Montana. Confluence of the Flathead river and Clark Fork is like a mile east of our house.”

“How much longer before you graduate? Did your son look at Colorado State University for forestry? My Dad grew up in Arizona, but looked at forestry at CSU. He said he went to Fort Collins, watch the snow blow off the Rockies, and swirl around him before settling down. He immediately turned around and went to ASU for a math degree.
We have a house 25 miles N of Denver (the ugly part of Colorado), but have spent most of the last 2 years with my father-in-law in SC who is not in the best of health.
Montana is beautiful and I love your Gov. Brian S.! He's a great voice for us Dems who are . . ."different."”
“Yes, loved it as well I read all his others. San Diego State for me, notice my son, wife and self on my picture thats a 3rd generation Italian graduating with a Masters from Yale last May 10. I enjoy your comments.”

“That's fabulous!!!!!!!! What are the degrees in?
My favorite family college story is how my grandfather put himself through the Colorado School of Mine by cooking and canning beans on the plains and selling them to the miners in the mountains.
“Belle, how about "The Source" by Michner great story of excavation of tell in Israel, looong.”

I read it years ago along with a lot of Michner's books (I think Centennial is my favorite because so much of it is my dad's family history). My BA is in anthro and I worked my way through grad school for archaeologist which is why I question everything. And no, it's not glamorous work.
