“As I commented before, if a person is in the middle of a LEGAL request of immigration, the government does NOT provide any papers to prove your status. Sooo, it sounds great, but what is a person to do when there's no proof provided??”

“Just so you know, I'm a US Citizen.
And when people are in the middle of the LEGAL process, the government does NOT provide any documentation as proof of your process. It's a broken system. For so long I wished I could prove I was in the US legally and couldn't.”

“True, and that is not taking into account the simpler stuff like forgetting your wallet or your purse, because you were in a hurry. Or what happen if you lose your papers or if you get robbed it takes a while to ask for a copy.”
