“Are you serious? When have you ever heard a black person using the term except to point out that another idiot has used it. We have no reason to use this derogatory term toward ourselves, thus proving my point that you all have NO IDEA what the hell you are talking about. So Stop using it until you learn something/”

“yes I am very serious-

where Black America was 50 years ago? Absolutely. Only difference now is, Black America is it's own worst enemy. We live in a time where other races do more in black communities than blacks do. Racism will always exist in some form, but Black America needs to stop using excuses in order to explain away the laziness, ignorance, and apathy that is spreading through the community like a virus. You can't fault other races for not caring about "your plight" if you're not doing your part by being a productive member of the community. Stop confusing racism with contempt. There's a difference. It's about accountability. Something that has been lost in Black America over the last 50 years.”

“You do not even know what that term race card means do you? It's an idiotic term began by a bunch of bigots who think that racism ended when slavery ended because they were too stupid or high to sit in social studies class and learn anything. Stop parroting words you know nothing about.”

“I think sitting in a Social Studies class is indicative of being stupid or high... or at the least lazy. Those are the kinds of classes to take so as to take a break from real courses and maybe to boost one's GPA.”

“As a liberal I agree the conservatives will pull all kinds of dirty tricks in
trying to keep down the minority vote, and their usual nasty stuff in
general.
But carefully looking at the trial, the legal experts and jury found
the evidence weak at best that GZ was guilty.
In fact they were pretty easy on what probably really happened...
that TM was the attacker in the second event [nothing happened,
violence, etc. in the first]....listen to TM's girlfriend....she
said he turned around and sought out GZ, and she
thinks he threw the first punch !

The jury, including one black, did not see this as a race issue.
Can't we assume they just might be right ?”

Promano on Jul 28, 2013 at 00:24:37

“no, its used by blacks who want to continue the never ending poor me story on how my family were slaves 200 years ago- stop with the pity party and build yourselves up- educate yourself and stop voting for a party who keeps dummy you down”

“I don't think you read the whole article. The university president stated that there was research done considering the groups and found that both had no incidents in over 200 concerts. If all concerts were to be declined based on crime and violence then not only would rap music be banned but also rock, and country, especially rock.”

“I am trying to understand your insult. Are you, in your own pithy way, attempting to criticize the ability of college students to understand written language over text or ignorantly stating that African American university students are not intelligent enough to understand cursive? Sometimes the words you are using to take down others more often than not wind up bringing you down several notches.”

cornell0673 on Sep 4, 2013 at 02:26:24

“if im not mistaken, he is using the words of the witness in the trayvon martin case who couldnt read cursive to be a representative of all those people of color who would attend.

irregardless of the fact that english was the ladys second language and not her primary language, which means she was bi lingual which is something i can see he is not, he would still assume he is smarter.

Creole was the ladys native language in which she appear to speak slang and broken english, the funny part is the expert who trained the officers also spoke more broken english the she but was never mocked or degraded because he was asian.”

“Zimmerman must have a damn hard skull to have gotten the hell beat out of his head but did not have a concussion nor needed stitches, as reported. And by the way he was also NOT a neighborhood watch. He was on his own as a wanna be cop. The Neighborhood watch always works in pairs, wears identification, and are NOT allowed to carry guns. They also carry two way radios to contact police and are not allowed to intervene. Since Trayvon was not involved in a crime and Zimmerman knew nothing about him, his background had nothing to do with the reason Zimmerman confronted him.

And Harry Belafonte is one of the greatest humanitarians in the world and is respected all over the world so not having your respect is not of much importance.”

LibertyLane on Jul 28, 2013 at 02:03:09

“The wanna be cop crap you are talking about are conjecture and lies made up in the fairy tale land of the liberal news and the idishonest prosecutors. It doesn't matter if Z had a concussion, eye witnesses said, Martin was the aggressor, although his family said he was just trying to get home, he didn't go there, even though out of Zimmerman's sight for nearly 4 mins. Neighborhood watches are different. I, myself, was approached by a couple of neighborhood watch guys where I was serving papers once, about 10:30 at night. They followed me, and asked what I was doing there. They did not identify themselves. I did not attack them, I told them who I was, I showed my badge and asked them for theirs. They had none. but finally identified themselves, and we all went on our way. That's the way it's done in the real world and no one got killed. Although it has been mentioned that Trayvon was a troubled kid, on suspension from school with a background of possible burglary, I don't really care. The only thing that matters in this case, is that Z had to defend himself against an attacker who confronted him, not the other way around. Why don't you watch the trial, and you'll know the truth, instead of the heresy that Sharpton & his gang are spouting.
BTW, think what you want about Belafonte, I know who he is, and who he was. Means nothing to me.”

“My heart goes out to that mother, my daughter is a lesbian and I can not imagine what I would do if this happened to her. To know she was tortured for being what God made her is incredibly sick, twisted, and despicable. Was anyone ever caught and tried or are they still free? Thank you for paying tribute to a beautiful young lady.”
