“Maybe you should learn a bit about what the establishment clause is all about. You are free to believe what you want. You are NOT free to impose it on anyone else. Especially in your capacity as a government employee which by proxy of working for a school system he was. In fact your words are exactly why we have freedom of religions. Not everyone, in fact most of the world, believes in jesus. Religion has never worked. Ever. Read up on some history.”
“Lynda Elaine - That's not very becoming. I hope from that remark you have no children.”

“I live in Norcal and rescue wolves and have seen cub mothers protect with a snarl. This woman was rightfully mad . Yes, there are two legged mangey mutts out there at night. No point in ruining a child's innocence yet.”
“No the point is that C sections exist primarily for convenience, not medical necessity. This woman was able to give birth to this toddler naturally and good for her. If there had been any issues, you can bet they would have done a C-section. You need to question why you think you know it all.”
happysunshine82 on Jul 31, 2013 at 17:19:18
“Sorry, but C-sections are not a mere "convenience". As point of fact, this EXACT scenario is one of the few LEGITIMATE medical reasons the C-section came into existence. So large babies who were not otherwise deliverable could survive. Whether they're indicated for women delivering normal weight newborns in normal circumstances - different story. I don't question it - I'm alive because of C-section for this very same reason! Not even going to start rattling off my resume in response to your childish remark. This isn't a piddling contest - you may have to concede that there ARE people who know a few things.”
“You can NOT go to jail for having a debt. You CAN go to jail for violating a court order to pay the debt. A far different thing. If you have ignored the issue or not taken care of your business and allowed the court to just roll over you due to inaction, then that is your fault.”
Real bear on Jul 24, 2013 at 08:48:16
“Wrong, there are plenty of cases where people have missed court appearances cause they weren't informed as a sort of punishment by the debtor !”

“wow at least you didn't insult elderly people this time you re-wrote this.
Then it's your fault that nobody loves you, nobody really cares about you.
It's your fault you're never happy.”

“You need to just give up trying to communicating to any of us who are actually in the human race. You need help. Professional help.”

“You are being abusive if you are talking to people elderly, dying in their bed.
Gawd you need help. There is something seriously wrong with you.”
“There is no bigotry involved here. They do not discriminate against individuals. They simply believe, and they have that right in this country under our Constitution, in what the bible they follow says. Simple.
This hysteria is nothing but BS. I don't believe in same sex marriage. In fact I don't believe in the institution of marriage at all. Doesn't make me a bigot. Makes me a single person that is sick of the rampant discrimination practiced everyday in the country against single people in the form of higher taxes, higher insurance premiums, no property rights if you are co habitating etc. It is time to get rid of religious marriage as a legal institution. You want to get 'married'?, fine but it is civil. Anyone of age can get married. The civil agreement is renewable and provides protections on banking, money, children and joint property. You want the dress up version at your church, go for it, but it isn't legal. THEN we can take about 'marriage equality' which in and of itself is a stupid made up term.”

“Well Said !!!! This is the best comment I have seen here !!!”
“Actually neither marriage or it's definition came from an ancient spiritual source (whatever that means). It is and always has been a business arraignment designed by the church to keep men in power, women as property and the wealth in the church. They simply prettied it up to appease the women, otherwise known as property. Nowadays, most of the religious trappings have fallen by the way but the traditions continue.
In many third world countries, it is still all about women as property and wealth moving to the womans family or the church.
Please learn the history behind institutions instead of sounding silly by sourcing an ancient spiritual source.”

“Are you married and if so, is your relationship just about money, power and property?
Lynda, people do what they want when it comes to "marrying" someone... some make it "legal" through laws of the government they live within, some just decide to stay together for years without a need for any official document that says they are married.
But, back to the topic, Chick-Fil-A is just stating their understanding of marriage and this understanding bucks those who don't want that in their life... so what?
Let Chick say what they want to say, they're a business, and they know that if someone disagrees with any statement they make, they can reply by not patronizing them. For any business to take a stand on topics such as marriage is unusual, don't you think? Some take stands for gay and lesbian arrangements. So what? JC Penny has done so and I think their sales went down. It's risky for a business to "advertise" their moral standing about anything. So Chick-Fil-A will just find out if people are for them or against their stance. It's their business and their finances on the line. Pretty gutsy, I'd say.”
“Not really. This was a public venue, not something that happened on their property. It clearly states the couple was sitting near the bull pen. If anything, the city needs to put higher fencing around that area OR remove the picnic tables OR put up signage indicating you sit there at your risk.
Either way she waited two years which I am willing to bet is the statute of limitations to bring suit. She is obviously milking this for what she can get.
I have been hit in the face with a baseball. Hurt like the dickens and left a bruise but it didnt' result in a lawsuit.”
“How ridiculous...and you can bet that an outpouring of money to cover the kid's family legal costs won't be forthcoming. Yet be a grown woman not doing her job on a school bus and people can't give enough. THIS is a real issue. The deal with that bus monitor was not.”
Go-Blue on Jun 26, 2012 at 16:10:00
“Yea, the bus monitor was a real issue too. Those kids were ruthless and disgusting, just like this woman who got hit by the ball.”
“If you work for a private organization and you sign a morals clause as part of your employment agreement, then they can fire you for this and it is legal. Period...So everyone get off your outraged high horses. Has nothing to do with the state of TX and everything to do with what is expected of you if you work for a private christian school. They have a set of standards. If you don't want to abide by them, don't work for them. Lots of public businesses have a morals clause - which is generally pretty ambiguous. They can use ANYTHING they don't like to invoke it.
The super had a good point - they don't want their kids seeing her as some kind of example that is counter to their beliefs. ( I think he should have included the boys in his statement because it does take two).
That said I would bet the farm if one of his male teachers knocked up some chick without getting married, he would have his job with no problem. The Christians are nothing if not a bunch of hypocrites.”
“If by unthinkable you mean there wouldn't have been a corner coffee stand manned by one person, then you are correct. However abductions and murders have been going since since homo sapiens and ourit's ancient relatives have been on this planet. Nothing new about this. The media saturation simply makes the stories a national/world event instead of merely a local one. It certainly doesn't make it easier on the loved ones or the victim but making flippant ignorant remarks like yours doesn't make it true. Would you rather a crone be manning those coffee shops? Maybe people with terminal cancer or AIDS. they don't have anything to live for anyway. Just think how much we could save in medical costs and medicaid.”
