“Everyday we hear such terrible and depressing news, I am so happy I read this one. Thank you Bill Clark for your quick thinking and heroic actions. Sadly many people don't lift a finger or turn a blind eye to such situations.”
“In Canada I could name you hundreds of free child care places for mothers looking for employment. Many places also help mothers create resume's and send them off to employers. We pay a lot of taxes but we take care of our own.”
“She just wanted him to go away... it breaks my heart. It means she must of never held him in her arms to comfort him and love him. How many thousands of families would of adopted this little baby and given him all the love, attention and nutrition that he needs to thrive. I hope they find him a loving family, heck I wish I could just hold him in my arms and pour the love he needed for the first 9 months of his life.”
“The death of her baby could of been preventable is she would of chosen her daughter over some man warming her bed. When will single mom's and even married mom's comprehend that your children, your babies, your number one priority in this world is their well being and safety, above yours and especially above some "dude" giving it to you!”
“What's even scarrier then these pictures is the knowledge that many of these people addicts have babies, toddlers or kids at home.”

“If they don't stop for them.....they are destined to die. I would think God would make it impossible for these people to procreate. Sadly, I guess that is not the case. I got out of a highly abusive relationship SOLEY to protect my child..not myself or I truly believe I would not be here today. If they can't get off the horse for their child or children, they are not going to live at all. I only wish their kids a better fate.”

“Most of them lose their kids...if family doesn't step in they go to foster care. I am raising my grand daughter - now her legal guardian.”

“Cuba has some of the nicest beaches in the world and is never mentionned. When we go there, there are people that have travelled from Italy, France and the UK just to get a piece of the nicest beaches. I know Americans can't travel there but it's still one of the nicest beach.”
“I pray these little girls do ok. There is a famous set of young ladies in the United States who are conjoined twins of this type and they seem to be doing great. They have a University Education and are able to do just about anything. Sadly these parents in India may not be able to afford the therapies and care they will need to make them thrive.”
“Really who can you Americans blame for this? What do you think extreme Capitalism was going to lead to?
Surprise surprise the rich get richer and the middle class and poor get poorer.
Made in India, made in China... call centers have all been moved to India. Cheap cheap cheap. Why should my BIG AMERICAN company support it's people and country by hiring locally when they can hire people from third world countries for a fourth of the price. Why should we have this made in America when it can be made in China for next to nothing.
Why doesn't your government tax the rich more instead of the middle class? Right, what do rich Americans care about mothers who can't afford health care, middle class children who can't get medical treatment because parents can't afford it. Why would the rich give a hoot about mothers and maternity leave... It's a me, myself and I country. Funny how you are called the United States when there is nothing UNITED about it.”
“Yeah well if he would of stayed in Canada he wouldn't be in this bag of trouble... lots of bad influences in the US.”

“You can't just generalise people... Need I remind you of good ol' Canadian Cory Monteith who died after mixing up some alcohol and heroin in Canada? And yeah, you can say he relapsed while living in California but that was not his first stint. His addiction started in his teens IN Canada. There a lot bad people everywhere who will tempt you but in the end, it is your choice to do it or walk away.”
“Professional matchmaker Patti Stanger, suggests only dating at your lowest weight possible and hunkering down on the cosmetic procedures:
“I had to find a diet that would kick me back into dating shape, because I know that I can't date at size 8. I have to date at size 2. And it's just a fact of nature. Go get your injections and your chemical peels. You gotta look good to attract a man.”
Wow Patti... I bet most of her matchmaking ends in divorce before the botox even wears off!”

“She's also a professional plastic surgery patient herself. So there's that.”
“Over the past 10 years, more than 20,000 American children are believed to have been killed in their own homes by family members. That is nearly four times the number of US soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The child maltreatment death rate in the US is triple Canada's and 11 times that of Italy. Millions of children are reported as abused and neglected every year. Why is that?
Part of the answer is that teen pregnancy, high-school dropout, violent crime, imprisonment, and poverty - factors associated with abuse and neglect - are generally much higher in the US.
Geography matters a lot in determining child well-being. Take the examples of Texas and Vermont.
Texas prides itself in being a low tax, low service state. Its per capita income places it in the middle of the states, while its total tax burden - its willingness to tax itself - is near the bottom.
Vermont, in contrast, is at the other extreme. It is a high-tax, high-service state.
In looking at key indicators of well-being, children from Texas are twice as likely to drop out of high school as children from Vermont. They are four times more likely to be uninsured, four times more likely to be incarcerated, and nearly twice as likely to die from abuse and neglect.”
“When my husband and I look at our children either on top of the pyramids of Giza or on the ice saving pucks or taking their first steps, I can't imagine ever ever being happier. Our children are the greatest joy and achievement of our lives and I am so lucky to be raising them with my best friend, my lover, my husband...”
