“One treatment modality that decreases pain and creates balance in the cranial system is Cranial Sacral work developed by John Upledger who used gentle osteopathic techniques to align the bones of the cranium and spine. His methods have been effective in treating stress, headaches and pain. I have learned that this method is very helpful and calming for PTSD sufferers.
I hope this work will be integrated in the treatment regimens for PTSD because it is gentle, effective and decreased the need for pain meds.
