First Draft of a Constitutional Amendment to Authorize the Regulation of Corporate Involvement in Politics

Commented Jan 24, 2010 at 11:59:39 in Politics

“Send a message to corporate big-whigs and the Supreme Court that the newly-annointed 'Corporate Persons' will NOT drown out the voices of We The People.
Take a stand ... call or walk into the campaign HQ of your favorite candidate - today, tomorrow or next weekend, or WHENEVER you have even ONE hour to spare, and offer to make phone calls, stuff envelopes, pass out flyers at your train station, or just to make coffee for volunteers!!!
But, do SOMETHING!
It will take the collective roar of 1,000 individual voices to match the mountains of now unencumbered cash of just ONE "Corporate Person."
5 activist justices have now opened the ultimate Pandora's Box, and what was previously the "legal fiction" of corporate entities, has now become our "legal nightmare"...
So, can the "corporate veil" protecting against individual personal liability of board members, corporate officers and shareholders now be "pierced" since corporations have now been granted personhood? may they now stockpile weapons and give an AK-47 to every board member in accordance with their 2nd Amendment rights? or how about their constitutional right to vote once they are 18 years old? and would they get one vote, or many? Can they refuse to respond to a government investigation or subpoena by invoking their 5th Amendment rights against self-incrimination?”
