“Yes, you bring up some fascinating points. I'm glad you're not one of those "UFO Believers" who are hell bent on the ET presence only. I've read one of Vallee's books. As for Stan, no offence to him, he is stuck on the extraterrestrial hypothesis. I surmise most of the UAP is beyond our comprehension. Perhaps only a few % are ETs, the rest are a mixed blend of all kinds of phenomenon beyond our science. And yes, the phenomenon has been here since the dawn of Man, even before. The evidence is all around us, if one bothers to look, from early Man's cave drawings to religious paintings centuries old. Science simply hasn't caught up with this enigma yet.
Or it was purposely introduced. J. Vallee has documented sightings that go back thousands of yrs (Wonders in the Sky). If thousands of yrs why not hundreds of thousands of yrs? What if ETs have always been here (J. Vallee has theorized inter-dimensional visitation)? From that perspective a whole world of possibilities open up. S. Friedman has suggested we could be their private property. Or humans could be in essence, lab rats, & a part of an on-going experiment. There may be versions of us on another planet (or in another dimension) & they're being subjected to different influences & stimuli. How we stack up to them will determine our fate. Vallee has offered compelling evidence that the UFO phenomenon is the basis for much of our myths, legends & religions. He asks, "Could meetings with UFO entities be designed to control our beliefs?" Some say yes. Father Salvatore Freixedo argues "that the spiritual control system of which UFOs are a part may have resulted in the religious myths that keep mankind in a state of abject submission to obsolete myths..... the phenomenon originates with entities that manipulate our reality and our destiny for their own purposes. Using our naivete and our lack of critical judgment in the presence of "miracles," these entities play with our emotion in order to be worshipped as gods."”
