EXACTLY, and the President leads through diplomatic channels under the State Dept, under the Pentagon, Department of Defense, and other options under his administration.... not some loose cannon trying to make a name for himself......... if McCain had a true purpose, then why did he turn this into a PHOTO OP.... why did he release this info to the media? What was the purpose of that? or was that the part of taking the "lead", that I missed.”

“You speak of Democracy and despots... and/or accident and force anarchy and tyranny....... You speak of democracy as it is under the US constitution within the seperation of powers, and yet you mention despot, as under the declaration of powers;
What I see here, seems to look like McCain trying to play the role of despot... he is overthrowing the executive branch of government - "commander in Chief" maybe only in theory alone;
He is supporting the destabilization of the government, in order to topple it... supporting anarchy, which is leading to tyranny..... and it seems that McCain is looking like some form of despot.....

I know my history my friend...... I understand the federalist papers.... I understand democracy as opposed to despots..... I understand CONSTITUTIONAL AUTHORITY, and if their constitution is drafted in support of their government, then you need to change the constitution, preferably prior to the actions........despots..... it seems like someone is looking more like, than dislike here, in this situation.”

“I agree, there is a clear separation of powers within the constitution.... legislative branch is allowed legislative power (power to legislate), while the executive branch, executes the written legilsation, and acts as "Commander in chief"....... these are constitutional issues, and when broken could be seen as an enemy of the constitution type scenario.... or a "clear and present danger" type situation....... that looks like a very small scale coup d etat........ and if this gets hostile, then iot would look like a full scale coup d etat....

“I think it's a problem with the US gov. as a whole;
we have three branches of government, and a clear constitutional separation of powers;
When a person from the Legislative branch (McCain) goes to a foreign Country and acts like he is from the Executive branch (Presidents cabinet)... then it seems that we have a clear and present danger type situation.........luckily it is NOT a hostile action, or this could be seen as a coup d atat.... a clear and present danger of a VIOLATION of the Separations of powers, and that being a constitutional violation.....

Whether you see it as an enemey of the constitution, or just a REAL BAD IDEA, is an individual issue.

When you see nobody in the executive branch calling this a problem........ then, this might be worse that thought... because this could happen in a Very dangerous situation, and would send MIXED messages, and could discredit the "Commander in chief";
