'Anchorman 2' Will Return To Theaters For One Week With 763 New Jokes

“So a movie that was mediocre at best is being re-released with the jokes that were not funny enough to get into the mediocre version? Well played, major movie studio, well played.”

“I think they are releasing an R rated version. The original was pegged to be PG for greater appeal. Obviously it was a matter of language rather than not being "good enough."”

“Actually the very foundation of your not-so-thinly-veiled takedown of Colbert (seemingly because of sour grapes over Ferguson, which comes athe very end of your diatribe out of nowhere) is flawed at the very least.
For many years, Colbert did his stint on "The Daily Show" as himself not as "Stephen Colbert" the character & he was delightful- quick-witted, naturally funny & very engaging.

“Ah, the Sweetestbaboon ... this was not a takedown, by any measure. I actually am rooting for Colbert. He is smart. He's well informed. If he's not informed on something, he'll ask questions.
When you mix all of that into a network vortex of suits n' producers, what comes out the other end is may not indeed be sausage. Here's hoping he's not boxed in...and has the leeway to do his thing. My point about Ferguson is that he is in the CBS mold. He's good. However, I'm not sure he has broad appeal either, something Colbert will need to succeed. I can't wait to see how it all turns out...I'll be watching..”
