“The issue was due to the racist statements which resulted in a newsworthy headline. While I understand your goal of not upsetting the apple cart, then, that cart was not only upset, but turned over, crushed and cracked. It's time to denote the obvious. America still has issues with race, but we are at least continuing the struggle by staring it in the eye, not avoiding the topic due to its uncomfortable nature.”
“The only way bad cops are removed are through active citizenry. I'll treat him with respect up to point arrest and beyond. However, once I'm released, I'll bring the law on my side and down on whomever head's or heads' who seek maintain that prevailing circumstance. This is why individual survellance technology is of the utmost importance in keeping legal thugs off the streets.”
“@2mbd5: Listen to, ellyess. ellyess is right in this case. To your comment, "...if your not doing anything illegal you shouldn't have to worry about Cops at all...", is totally filled with logical fallacy and a red herring more specifically. You totally contradicted yourself when you admitted that there are bad cops and (since there are bad cops) they become terrorizing thugs to regular, law-abiding citizens everyday. Wait about 15 to 20 years; these cops will be begging for their jobs once a generation or two of androids hit the streets. Have fun with unemployment soon!”

“Yes there are bad cops but the point is they are a small majority compared to the rest of the police. And yes for the most part if you are doing nothing wrong and you treat the police with respect you have nothing to fear. Most bad cops will wait until you give them the smallest reason for them to give you trouble, if youre respectful and not doing anything wrong you shouldnt have to worry. If the cop is a bad cop he will eventually get what is coming to him and thats when you record him or her.”
“I agree that Lady Thatcher did well with old age. Moreover, that's why it's best for Hillary to run for President (a possible eight (8) year term) versus being appointed on the U.S. Supreme Court where one would have to stay a minimum of 15 to 30 years on the bench. Remember, the Democratic party lost two U.S. justices due to retirement and old age and return got at least one radical conservative member. They changed passed laws and basically interpreted to the extent of "legislating from the bench". I never could buy the logic of denying her the Presidency for a U.S. Supreme Court appointment. That's why I'm saying this: Hillary should run!”

“I absolutely agree she should not waste time with stodgy, old Justices who are mostly just "waiting to die without losing their position". She has A LOT to offer and she appealed to people before and will appeal again with her Secretary of State position under her belt now, too.
Although Hillary said she's "done" with politics after this....she also said many times that "politics runs in her blood". And I do believe that if America is calling to her......she will absolutely answer...and do so tirelessly.”
“Okay, Ashanti, let me understand this: you woouldn't want Hillary in the White House due to age but on the U.S. Supreme Court where one is expected to serve at a minimum 15 years on the bench until retirement or death, whichever is first. I don't follow the logic in this.”

“Although not American....didn't Margaret Thatcher rock it out as a powerhouse until she was really, really old for Britain??”
“Any self-described progressive is not a true progressive if they'll voting for Christie. I'll rather have Cuomo for President, even if he beats Clinton. Of course, I would prefer Hillary, but if it looks like she can't win; then, I'm voting democratic.
We need replace a conservative U.S. Supreme Court Justice with a moderate or more left-leaning (progressive) justice. However, I think the phrase "more left-leaning" would include a moderate U.S. Supreme Court Justice.
However, will need to make amends on some things that she's doing. However, I don't think we can have someone too radically progressive, but Elizabeth Warren is a pick. If you pick Cuomo, then, I see no difference between him and Hillary, except less potential baggage.”

“I said I was open to learn more about many potentially progressive candidates. WHY must I CHOOSE who to support for president in 2016 and it is 2013?
Hillary Clinton and her political PR machine want to say HILLARY only. no thanks. I want no Clintons and no Bushes. PERIOD.
“I guess you want Chris Christie, Rick Perry, or Jeb Bush.”

“No no. I hope there is the prospect of a truly progressive candidate, not Bush-style, arrogant militaristic, corporatist, one-percenter, DC status quo insider Hillary Rodham Clinton.
I hope as citizens and voters we will have a chance --- over the next nearly four years -- to hear much more about and from Warren, Cuomo, O'Malley, Patrick. If he can get his health challenges addressed, I would even want to hear more from Christie... as an alternative to Hillary.
No more Clintons or Bushes, please. ”
