“Romney is a embarrassment to the Republicans.. just as Santorum was. I agree with planned parenthood/prochoice, yada yada. But really now.. I think we're doomed no matter who gets the majority vote. Obama has done nothing but spend more money. Romney will ruin more then obama has. Why can't we have good presidential candidates?..”

“"Why can't we have good presidential candidates?"
Because you get the candidates you ask for... and deserve.”
“it seems as though mexico is just as corrupt as Iraq.. might as well have troops there too. Its 2012... how much worse can the world be. People cutting up a poor animal for no reason. These people make me sick”
“i graduated from that school.. i know that kid.. he was so troubled and picked on. he was constantly bullied.. thats no accuse to bring a gun to school. But none the less.. the schools should take more measures to reach out to bullied kids and teach that bullying is wrong. Pray for Daniel. I hope Bobby gets life in jail and the help he needs. His parents must be so disappointed..”

“When we were in high school my younger sister was bullied mercilessly by the people who lived near us. It was heart breaking to watch my baby sister come home in tears because they called her ugly, or told her she was nasty. She once came home sobbing because these mean girls had spit a wad of gum in her hair. The things they did to her were enough to make me shake with anger. After the gum incidence I could not take watching them beat her down emotionally anymore. So, I went to the "head mean girls"s house and had a nice conversation with her. Told her if my sister came home crying again, I would spit gum in her hair, and then make her life as miserable as she made Rachel's.. Those girls left my sister alone then.
I took action, I made them stop, and I watched to make sure that my sister was left alone. Bullying is NOT ok, you are right. I loath bullies. And action needs to be taken against them. But you can not honestly tell me this poor boy was bullying him?”

“He won't get help in jail. He will come out bigger badder and angrier than ever.”
“I'm honestly tired of racism and gender discrimination in terms of getting married. If two people love each other, just let them get married. Why is it such a big deal. Its 2012 not 1920. People need to get over themselves. Who cares what people used to do, and what marriage used to be about. Things aren't like they were before. Give these people a break.”

“Homosexuals have already stolen the word "gay" from the vocabulary; let them get their own word for their union!. "Marriage" already has a specific definition and meaning, both in Christianity and socially, and to say it means anything else demeans the relationship that it defines. Call 2 gays in a committed relationship a "civil union", a "social contract", or make up your own word for it, but the word "marriage" is the union between a man and a woman with God's blessing. Two men or two women or any other combination (are there any limits?) are NOT a "marriage" by definition. Find another word!”

“We could solve the situation if all recognition by the state would be for civil unions, and then "marriage" could be the province of the state.
I am a minister, yet when I perform a wedding under the auspices of the Rubrics and beliefs of my denomination and my own conscience...I still sign a state licence that recognizes what I have accomplished as a legal union. Fine, get me out of the legal mess. Let a couple go to the state, and sign their licences and be joined in civil union. If they want to receive a sacramental or religious blessing on their union, then let them work it out with the minister/officiant of their religion.

“Unfortunately, I think stuff like this has been going on all of the time. The internet and instant communications have made the exchange of news more and more accessible and common.”
