“I'm sure level headed Anderson thought he might try to talk some sense into this woman, but upon ralizing she was a total lost cause, he was simply too repulsed & felt he had to terminate her appearance. I cannot blame him. I give him credit for having tried, and also for having maintained his composure when he probably would've preferred to yell at her for being such a delusional moron & horrible parent.”
“I'm extremely disappointed in the club member who supplied this alleged "information" to the press, or to anyone. Members of swingers clubs sign and agree to complete discretion and to protect the identities of their fellow members. This member's breach of conduct and lifestyle etiquette is shameful and reprehensible and he or she should be expelled from the club with a terminated membership. More so, this member's name should be publicized so that ALL such clubs can ban him or her from membership. WHAT A JERK.”
“Suffolk County, Long Island recently passed a NEW LAW requiring people convicted of animal abuse to be INCARCERATED, and also listed in a PUBLIC REGISTRY, just like sex offenders.
((Hooray Suffolk County !!!))
If you like that idea.... Go to your own local county and state websites & SEND THEM EMAILS DEMANDING IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“They're just now tightening the animal cruelty laws here in Alaska, after two severe cases in the last two weeks. Before, it was up to the judgement of the individual Vet. Now there will be minimum standards. And it can't come too soon.”
“1) TEACH YOUR CHILDREN A "SECRET CODE WORD" that nobody knows except you. If anybody comes to pick you up, ask for the code word. If they don't know it, DO NOT go with them! No matter what they tell you! Even if they say mommy or daddy was in a car accident, or is sick, DO NOT believe it -- Even if it's one of our friends or neighbors, or a teacher, or even if they say they are a police officer. You can call 911 & ask if it's true. BUT DO NOT GO with the person who didn't know the code. RUN AWAY to a different person & yell "CALL 911 for me!!"
((Parents: Never tell your secret code to anybody until the day you need them to pick up your child. And change the code after any time you use it))
2) TEACH YOUR CHILDREN TO YELL "CALL 911 -- CALL 911 !!!" as loud as they can, so everybody can hear, if they ever feel afraid.
3) TELL YOUR KIDS IT'S OKAY TO FIGHT, SCREAM, BITE, KICK, PINCH, PUNCH & SCRATCH ANYBODY WHO TRIES TO TAKE THEM AWAY or harm them-- NO MATTER WHO THAT PERSON IS !!!
4) DISCUSS THESE THINGS WITH YOUR KIDS ON THE 1ST DAY OF EVERY MONTH, UNTIL THEY'rE IN HIGH SCHOOL.
Copy this message & send it to everyone you know. Even the ones who don't have kids! This message can help save a child's life.”
“@genealogylover.... She was staying with a family that were friends of her mother's for a short time, while her mother tried to get a job and an apartment for them. The young boy you are referring to was a member of that family, so Yes, he was still in the house because he lived there. (Some articles have referred to him as Sharon's boyfriend, while other articles have not made any such connection). Anyway, he awakened from sleeping at approx. 2am, happened to see Sharon West was still awake, but then he went back to bed. Like everyone else in his household, he had/has no idea what later prompted her to leave the house in the middle of the night & (supposedly) head off to that park.
She was not being raised with "too much freedom".
She was a guest in someone's home, and she left the house for an unknown reason in the middle of the night. Period.
I'm sure that if any of the adults in that house would've seen her leaving they would have stopped her. But alas they were asleep at that hour.
I hope this answers your questions.
What you SHOULD be making noise about is this:
WHY DIDN'T THE LOCAL POLICE ISSUE AN AMBER ALERT EVEN THOUGH THE FAMILY BEGGED THEM TO ISSUE ONE ?????”
emscrs on Jan 18, 2012 at 04:51:40
“Amber Alerts are for those who are deemed to be endangered, generally by having been abducted. This girl left of her own free will and her whereabouts were known. Since she was using her cell phone to text her friends, she was apparently not under duress. Also, Amber Alerts are not going to help drivers if there is no vehicle description. Few people would have been driving through a soccer field. If this is a gathering place, perhaps the police should patrol it more frequently and call the parents to come pick up any minors found there in the middle of night.”

“She was staying with her boyfriends family...as for too much freedom who can say since she seemed to drift from one parent to another and was a runaway 2 or 3 times and had already done a stint in rehab after the last one.
The family didn't beg - the mother did - very early on but now says LE did everything they could.
The alert system would become a quagmire if runaways were listed - it was not designed to aid in the search for runaways.
And if it had been issued...it would have meant nothing in this case. No one even knows if she was murdered or died accidently of an overdose.
“J.R. ...... If you're reading this....... I just wanted to tell you that when I look at you I honestly don't see the scars. You are waaaay too good looking for me to notice any scars. I can only be honest -- You're a gorgeous sexy hunk, and your girlfriend is one helluva lucky woman! Congratulations on your baby-on-the-way! Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year.............. xoxox, t”

“Hi Janet... Right, I understand what the deck of cards was for, and all that. But the article fails to mention whether she saw her card somewhere, or how her card was actually relevent in her decison to suddenly turn herself in. Due to that missing info in the article, it reads as if the two matters are completely seperate of each other. Which, I'm guessing they are not, but that's the way it reads, which was all I was saying.
“Question: How did the deck of cards play into the fact that she turned herself in? Is it even relevent, other than the fact that she happened to be featured in it? This article is missing too much info.”
Janet L on Dec 4, 2011 at 20:59:08
“The deck of cards was a 'missing person' deck. Every number and face card on the deck had the picture of a missing person or unsolved homicide in the area from which the deck was distributed. As I understand the, the idea is that the faces and names get 'out there' in a new and different way and maybe someone who knows something but never spoke up before, or who was never contacted or perhaps wasn't aware that they had information, might come forward and bring with them new evidence/information that might advance the case (similar, I guess, to the idea of the decks of cards that were created from the "most wanted" deck of those behind the 9/11 attacks). It was relevant because it was apparently what actually sparked the woman to contact authorities to let them know that she was not a crime victim as had been assumed for 18 years (Perhaps she thought her disappearance was always seen as a 'runaway' situation? who knows...and I'm not getting into the morality of leaving her child behind...there's too much unspoken for me to be making a judgement on that issue and whether she was right or wrong in her actions from that standpoint)”
“@ jr0315 Wow, can you please share the "How To" information with us? Or, is there a certain type of specialist (i.e. maybe a computer store?) where people can bring their smartphones to have them rooted and cleaned of unwanted intrusive applications? --- Big Thanks in advance for any info you can share!”
“I am AMAZED & DISGUSTED that the state of Wisconsin LEFT THOSE OTHER CHILDREN IN THE CARE OF THAT SICK & ABUSIVE WOMAN. It is quite clear that she is mentally challenged, but it is her history of violence & purposeful neglect that makes her UNFIT as a parent, just like her lunatic child-abusing husband.
BOTH of them should NEVER be allowed to parent ANY child EVER again.
WAKE UP WISCONSIN --- AND FIX YOUR BROKEN SYSTEM.”
lynniemiller on Nov 19, 2011 at 02:34:33
“I agree. None of their children should be allowed to live with these people.”
“I saw Jesse James on a talk show recently (maybe it was Piers Morgan?) and he said, "I am now in a great relationship with Kat... She understands who I am, and she accepts me for exactly who I am and does not want to change me" (or something to that same effect). Well, I guess Kat should've been watching that interview. She might've felt a warning light go off in her head.
And another thing: 19 women??
The man is barely decent looking, and even less intelligent. How did he manage to find 19 women who would sleep with him in such a short period of time? Unless, maybe he was paying them?? ~lol~
Only one thing comes to mind right now............... STD's.”
goairforce on Nov 15, 2011 at 08:42:17
“@T003 --- accepting him for exactly who he is -- translates to accepting that he'll bang anything, anyime, anywhere, eh?
Where he found those 19 chicks.....maybe he hit Sturgis this year.”
A darling photo of one's naked baby in the bathtub is not illegal when framed on the dresser of a sentimental parent, etc. HOWEVER, forcing a child to disrobe and display her nude in front of a stranger IS ILLEGAL.
That is why the mother, Ms. Lussier, has been charged with "exhibiting a child in a state of nudity, indecent assault and battery on a person under 14, and reckless endangerment of a child", and she will no doubt lose custody of her daughter and spend time in prison... which, in my humble opinion, she deserves.”

“And I would agree if I trusted the government as much as you seem to. I know the Feds well. They love to make the news with cases like this and stack as many charges as they can on to the person they are after. Once they have them good and scared they will drop 90% of the case to get the person to plead out "and save the government the expense of a trial"
Federal law states that it's not child porn unless the genitals are displayed and there is a specific exception for pre-pubescent children that was included -because- to many Grammys and Grammpys were being prosecuted for "nekkid baby pics".
Unless this child was forced into some inherently sexual act or pose (in which case it doesn't matter how the kid is dressed) then it's NOT kiddie porn. There are nudist resorts all over this country where families, yes families, take pictures all the time and are not prosecuted because the law is clear; to be kiddie porn there has to be some inherently sexual aspect to it. A nekkid kid standing in a room is not sexual for most people.
This woman got duped over money. In these hard times I can understand how that can happen, though I still think she was stupid to believe the guy. I think the prosecutor in this case is probably getting close to promotion time and needs a few more convictions to seal the deal.”

“@pepjrp... Have you seen the images of Zim's Facebook page wherein he bragged about beating the rap after being charged w violent domestic abuse and attacking a cop? He's one smug "I believe I am above the law" dude with serious connections in a small town (daddy is a judge). None of the cops on the scene would have said a word, even if they saw him bang his own nose with his own fist. Think I'm exaggerating? My friend, you have no idea! Oh, and also.. The un-named child witness who called 911 after seeing 2 men fighting 30 feet from his door (!!) and hearing screams & a gun shot, was not interviewed by police for a WEEK afterwards. When finally interviewed, he stated he saw Zim standing over the body talking with another man who had a flashlight. Interesting: The alleged man with the flashlight AND HIS FLASHLIGHT have NOT been identified. That man was on & off the scene before the cops arrived. Amazing how someone showed up so quickly to help Zim get his story together and then left the scene. Also, the doctors who treated Zim say his nose wasn't broken; just banged enough to cause a little bleeding. So.. If it's not enough for you that Zim stalked this kid in the dark, gun in hand, even though he was told not to by the 911 dispatchers, then perhaps this other information will give you some food for thought.”

“@pepjrp..... If you had ever worked in law enforcement, you would as aware as I am of the high number of cases wherein a killer self-inflicts wounds to show that 1) he or she acted in self defence, or 2) that he or she was the surviving victim of a crime committed by a falsely alleged 3rd party. It is quite common for guilty parties to inflict shallow stab wounds, non-life-threatening bullet wounds, scrapes, abrasions, contusions, broken bones, black eyes, fat lips, etc. You name it, I've seen it.
Zim may not be the sharpest crayon in the box, but he is smart enough (and had motive enough) to know he needed to present himself as a victim once he realized he'd killed someone.”
pepjrp on May 19, 2012 at 03:43:50
“There is no evidence whatsoever that any injuries were self-inflicted and i believe that there are experts who can tell. Since there have not been any evidence to that, you are irresponsible in introducing such a thought. There is no evidence that Zimmerman had the gun in hand either.”
